Dylan and Daniel Jackson, AKA Dan, were the show’s only son and father duo. Their bond has been tested and strengthened over the years. Dylan was diagnosed with autism when he was four years old. On the other hand, Dan faced a massive challenge in 2012, when he was diagnosed with sinus cancer, and he lost an eye, and some facial tissue was removed in the process. Dan served in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary of the UK’s Ministry of Defence. He started his freelance work at the Scar Free Foundation as a Brand Ambassador in 2015 and has continued to work there. He is also involved with other charities like the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) and is an advocate for the facial cancer community. Dan prioritizes storytelling through his namesake blog, where he shares his health journey.
Dan’s story has been featured in several initiatives like Face Me Project, Be Real Campaign, and many more. In March 2025, he was interviewed in episode 1 of ‘The Scars’ podcast, where he candidly spoke about his experience with cancer, the surgery, and his long road of recovery. On the other hand, Dylan currently serves as a Bartender. Together, they have made a mark after the show. In July 2025, they appeared on Academy FM to discuss their story. Furthermore, they often enjoy the simple moments of life, such as trying out new restaurants, playing games, or even heading out for paintball sessions. Dylan has a close bond with his brother, Seth, and the family often spends time together, whether it’s drinking or even taking up shooting challenges.
Cat and Maiya Roberts Flawlessly Balance Their Careers With Adventures
Catherine Roberts, AKA Cat, and Maiya Roberts are the duo of sisters who fought their way almost to the end of the show with their trust and bond. Cat stepped into her professional life as a Stylist Assistant at The Sunday Times, where she served from July to August 2014. She then moved on to become a model for Storm Model Management. Over the years, she has posed before the cameras for several agencies before finally signing with DT Model Management. Cat has also been an Automotive Content Creator since 2023. She has garnered a large fanbase and currently boasts over 191K followers on Instagram. In March 2025, she obtained her Association of Racing Driver Schools (ARDS) Licence. By August 2025, Cat was spotted at the Formula E finale at the London E-Prix, soaking up the electric atmosphere.
When she is not busy in her professional life, Cat loves traveling to exotic destinations like Andermatt, Switzerland, and Sicily, Italy. She also enjoys quiet moments cuddling with her beloved dog. On the other hand, Noddy began his journey when he became an Executive Sales Professional for Merton Timber Ltd in January 2000 and worked there till February 2021.

The couple has been married for 30 years, and since their children are all grown up, they decided to set out on an adventure in the show. Unfortunately, during the first mission, they lacked composure under pressure. Furthermore, the host observed a lot of reluctance between the couple. It ultimately set them up to compete against Steven and Shelley to survive in the competition. Unfortunately, they ended up getting eliminated after the first mission. Professionally, Sid works as an underground Ticket Inspector and often attributes his role to his decision-making skills. His wife, Shabina, is a Civil Servant who believes in serving the community. The two are sports enthusiasts, especially passionate about soccer, and are notable fans of the Spurs team.
Asaad and Jamilah Hassan’s Life Largely Revolves Around Their Family
Asaad and Jamilah Hassan are a brother-sister duo who showcased their unbreakable bond on the show. Despite their best efforts, they were eliminated in episode 5. Asaad began his professional trajectory as an Engineer Cadet for Fletcher Shipping Limited in September 2009. He moved on from the position in June 2011 and became a Trainee for Maersk Training and later a Manager for Harle Peel Bottled Gas Supplies Ltd. Ultimately, Asaad joined MD Wind as a Turbine Technician in September 2015 and has been working there ever since. In April 2016, he also became a Wind turbine technician for Windtex. In his personal life, his heart belongs to his wife and soulmate, Jen. They had been trying to have a child of their own for around six years, and in the show, it was revealed that Jen was pregnant. Rob began his career back in 1984 as a Developer. Over the years, he took on roles like Senior Integration Engineer and Open Internet Products Manager. Ultimately, he worked in the position of an Innovation Labs Director for Elite Mind Academy from 2022 to 2024. Rob also stepped into entrepreneurial ventures, with the most recent being Founder and Non-Executive Director at Canaria from 2016 to 2024. Alex is a three-time National Champion Gymnast who is fluent in seven languages. In January 2001, he joined Dods Parliamentary Communications as a member of the Sales and Marketing department.
Alex moved on in January 2001 and gradually gained immense experience as a corporate Sales and Marketing professional. Ultimately, he became the Global Head of Distribution and Capital Raising at Consult Group Capital (CGC) in May 2023. While working there, he also began serving at Way International as a Strategic Advisor. Since 2004, Alex has been the Founder and CEO of Kennis Is Macht, or Knowledge is Power, which is his consulting agency. He loves to showcase his formal menswear look, gymnastic skills, and travel diaries, and has three separate Instagram accounts for each. Alex has traveled to 79 countries, and he is always accompanied by Rob. They have explored different countries like Spain and Germany, among many others. Whether it be going hiking or clicking pictures together, they never miss a chance to share meaningful moments.
Steven and Shelley Find Strength in Communication Even After 28 Years
Steven and Shelley married 28 years ago and arrived on the show as a couple prioritizing communication over anything. Although they were eliminated in episode 4, they had expressed that the show only helped them to come closer to one another. The couple originally appeared on the show because they revealed that it was almost time for their sons to leave home. So, they wanted to set aside some time for themselves and embark on the adventure together. In her professional life, Shelley serves as a Housing Officer. Her day-to-day roles usually include managing properties, tenancy management, and sometimes even legal and administrative duties. On the other hand, Steven is a licensed Black Cab Driver.
Steven always ensures that his customers reach their desired destination safely. The couple has always stood by each other regardless of the situation. Currently residing in Bromley, England, the couple was featured on season 3, episode 1 of the BBC’s ‘Your Home Made Perfect.’ Following the appearance, they proudly shared the transformation of their home on Instagram in April 2022. Most recently, in July 2025, they showcased the new work in their household, containing the changes in their hallway, dining area, and even the garden. While Sam Waddington is a Para Snowboarder, Luke is a Teacher
Sam Waddington and Luke are best friends who worked hand-in-hand throughout the challenges in the show. Their commendable bond even helped them to complete their first challenge in the fastest time compared to their opponents at that location. However, they were ultimately outsmarted by Ricky and Noddy in episode 3, leading to their elimination. Sam’s life hasn’t been without its struggles since his life changed when he got into a motorbike accident on June 26, 2013. Since the injury caused infections, he lost his left leg and now depends on a prosthetic leg. However, he soon discovered snowboarding and began training to represent Team GB in Para Snowboarding at the Paralympics. Sam even started a GoFundMe Fundraiser to afford his training. He is currently a Para Snowboarder and model, who has signed up with the ZBD talent agency.
Over the months in 2025, Sam has completed several training sessions for his sports at places like Kühtai. He is the ambassador of the Fletchers Foundation and actively volunteers for several other non-profit initiatives. In June, he announced winning the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Yorkshire Choice Awards for volunteering at Day One Trauma Support. Moreover, Sam has his own Airbnb, Drift & Dwell – Bridlington in Yorkshire, UK, which serves as his extra income stream. In August, the reality star proudly shared about immersing himself in skateboard training, which has always been his passion. In his personal life, he never misses a chance to spend time with his family. His best friend, Luke, serves as an English Teacher at a Secondary School in Manchester. However, he has decided to keep his private life under wraps, which is evident from his lack of presence on social media.
