BET+ has renewed ‘All The Queen’s Men’ for its fourth season. The shooting of the same will begin in Atlanta, Georgia, this month. The drama series was created by Christian Keyes with Tyler Perry on board as an executive producer, writer, and director.
The third installment of the show premiered on July 20, 2023. In the midseason finale, titled ‘Never Bluff,’ Detective Davis attempts to ally with Marilyn “Madam” DeVille, while Fernando persists in his threats, revealing Madam’s unwavering resolve, emphasizing that the only thing she’s willing to risk is her life.
While the plot of the fourth round remains undisclosed, the preceding seasons have intricately delved into Madam’s ascent to power and the formidable challenges she encounters in maintaining her business empire. Tackling personal struggles, including her relationship with her son and battles with addiction, Madam’s journey unfolds against a backdrop of complex narratives. The mid-season finale of the current installment marks a turning point as Madam triumphs over her nemesis, Vera Green (Jill Scott), but also confronts her own demons by acknowledging her struggle with alcoholism and seeking help. The upcoming season is poised to explore Madam’s path to recovery and her endeavors to rebuild her life, all while navigating fresh challenges in both her business and personal spheres.
Perry continues to serve as the main writer of the series by penning multiple episodes of the upcoming season. Valencia Parker, whose credits include ‘Born Again Virgin,’ has joined Perry to write the season as well. Along with Keyes and Perry, Elon D. Johnson, Angi Bones, Mark Swinton, Will Areu, and Tony L. Strickland serve as executive producers/producers.
Eva Marcille, who plays Marilyn “Madam” Deville, headlines the crime drama’s cast. The ensemble also features Skyh Alvester Black as Amp “Addiction” Anthony, Racquel Palmer as Blue, Jeremy Williams as Midnight, Christian Keyes as The Concierge, Keith Swift as Babyface, Michael Bolwaire as Doc, and Candace Maxwell as DJ Dime.
While BET+ has not yet unveiled the specific release date of the fourth round, historical trends suggest a summer premiere, aligning with the timing of previous seasons. Atlanta continues to solidify its position as an entertainment production hub, evident in noteworthy releases like Netflix’s ‘Pain Hustlers’ and ‘Reptile,’ all emerging from this dynamic filming locale. Notably, Atlanta has been a consistent backdrop for the show’s previous seasons.
