After his first marriage to Athena Klingerman ended on a sour note, he got married to Amber Rasmussen, whom he met via an online dating application. However, when she learned the truth about his first marriage and the dozens of protective orders against him, Amber teamed up with Athena to raise awareness about Brandon’s behavior and lies.

Amber Rasmussen moved to Portland, Oregon, at the age of 35 and began exploring the world of online dating, looking for an ideal partner to spend her life with. That’s when she came across Brandon Johnson, whom she met at a bar in Seattle, Washington. After dating for just six weeks, he went down on his knee and proposed to her in January 2014. Although she had her doubts, Amber ignored them and moved to Seattle to be with him after the engagement. A few years later, in May 2017, they made their relationship official by tying the knot. Over time, she started asking questions about his unemployment, and each time, Brandon allegedly came up with a distraction, like having a stomach tumor, lung cancer, and leukemia.
According to Amber, he also used to punch walls, drive at high speed, and throw furniture around the house. She also found out about his alleged infidelity a couple of times, which further deteriorated their marriage. On February 14, 2019, when she told him that she wanted to sever ties with him, he threatened to kill his first wife, Athena, one of his girlfriends, and himself if she left him. She reportedly filed for divorce on the same day, despite his threats. Although Brandon tried to pit Amber against Athena, the two women spoke and discovered his lies and deception. They teamed up against him and received a 5-year no-contact order from the court.

By unveiling the actions of the master manipulators, con artists, and narcissists, the women aim to reclaim their voice, power, and confidence. She also hosts another podcast, titled ‘NEXT REALM: Beautiful Stories from Beyond,’ wherein individuals share their alleged spiritual experiences with their loved ones who have passed beyond the realm of the physical world.
