In Apple TV+’s crime drama series ‘Bad Monkey,’ Neville Stafford, a Bahamian fisherman, lives on Green Beach, a beach located on the island of Andros in the Bahamas. His life at the place gets threatened when Christopher shows up to build a beachfront property in the region. The murderer destroys the house of Neville, who does not want to leave the beach where he grew up with his father. The fisherman’s emotional connection with the place is a significant element that drives his storyline forward. Miami Stands in For Green Beach in Bad Monkey
Green Beach in ‘Bad Monkey’ does not have an exact real-life counterpart. Although a beach named “Green Beach” exists in reality, it is located near Vieques, an island that is part of Puerto Rico rather than the Bahamas. Still, the beach in the crime drama and the real one are similar in appearance. Therefore, travel enthusiasts captivated by Neville’s home’s beauty can choose to visit some of the most appealing beaches in Andros, including Tiamo Beach, Nicholls Town Beach, Love Hill Beach, and Somerset Beach. These destinations are guaranteed to fascinate the visitors with the pristine waters and calm ambiance.
Even though a major portion of the show is set around Green Beach and the rest of the Andros island, the filming of the same scenes took place in Miami, Florida.
