Becky Jeffs: What Happened to Rachel Jeffs’ Sister?

Being the polygamist leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS), Warren Jeffs married dozens of women simultaneously and fathered multiple children with them. One of her daughters was Rebecca “Becky” Jeffs, whom he kept under the strict rules of the community along with his other children. In Lifetime’s ‘Surviving My Father: The Rachel Jeffs Story,’ the close-knit bond between Becky and her half-sister, Rachel Jeffs, is explored as they hatch a plan to escape the church and claim their rightful freedom.

Becky Jeffs Escaped From the Fundamentalist Polygamous Community With Her Half-Sister

Born to Annette Barlow and Warren Jeffs, Rebecca “Becky” Jeffs is the third daughter of the couple. She has alleged that her father, who was the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS) and a husband to dozens of women, sexually abused her from the time she was just 2 years old. In her childhood, she also allegedly witnessed him being inappropriate with her siblings, half-siblings, and many of his wives. Growing up within the strict confines of the community, Becky formed a special bond with her half-sister, Rachel Jeffs.

Rachel and Warren Jeffs

At the age of 18, Warren introduced Becky and Rachel to the two Allred brothers — Richard and David. In 2002, while Becky got married to David, her half-sister was paired with Richard. It turned out that she was David’s fourth wife. In the following years, he married several other women, amassing a total of nine wives. Over the course of their marriage, Becky gave birth to four children, including Raymond Jeffs Allred and Warren David Allred. Not only that, the couple began questioning some of the rules of the community, which Warren and others didn’t like.

Eventually, in 2012, David was made to leave the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, after which Becky was ordered to cut him out of all her photographs. Such extreme measures taken against her devoted husband and a doting father to her children made her doubt her father’s motives. In the following months, she was also separated from her children for a long period of time, which made her devise a plan to leave the community once and for all. Thus, right after she was reunited with her sons, she escaped the community, along with her half-sister, Rachel, and her children.

Becky Jeffs Continued Her Relationship With David Allred After Leaving the FLDS

Not long after severing her ties with the FLDS, Becky Jeffs reunited with David Steed Allred. The couple picked up their relationship right where they left off and seemingly enjoyed living a life full of freedom with their children. In the following years, they reportedly gave birth to two more children — another son and a daughter named Zeva. By January 2020, it was reported that Becky was attending a college, aspiring to become a teacher. Since Becky and David prefer to stay away from the limelight, not much is known about their current whereabouts.
