If there’s one thing nobody can deny, it’s that Bianca Belair (aka Bianca Nicole Blair Crawford) and Montez Ford (aka Kenneth Crawford) are one of the most well-known couples in WWE. In fact, their relationship has always been so endearing to fans that they even had their own original reality series on Hulu before Netflix ever even picked up the sport for their global audience. So now, with them having featured in both ‘Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez’ as well as ‘WWE: Unreal,’ we can’t help but wonder more about their beautiful romance and where they stand today.
Bianca and Montez Are Co-Workers Turned Life Partners
It was after Montez had served in the Marine Corps and the Navy that he kick-started his wrestling career with WWE in 2015, just to fall head over heels in love with the intense sport. CrossFit enthusiast Bianca signed her developmental contract with the same organization following two tryouts roughly a year later, unaware she’d soon also come across the love of her life. The truth is, they had a bit of an awkward start since he didn’t get the hint when she tried to flirt after they bumped into one another on a night out, only for him to then suddenly compliment her.
According to Bianca, this was the first time in her life that she had made the first move, but it absolutely did not go as planned, despite there being an immediate attraction/spark between them. That’s because Montez’s compliment about her makeup came out of left field, and then when they did manage to exchange phone numbers, she accidentally gave him the wrong one. Fortunately, they managed to reconnect not long after, since they worked under the same banner of NXT in the same organization. In other words, they quickly cleared all miscommunication. The duo thus began dating, and he proposed in June 2017 because he couldn’t wait after realizing he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, a sentiment she reciprocated.
In fact, Montez was in such a hurry that he ended up popping the question at the airport while they were on their way to a romantic getaway instead of the Grand Canyon as he had planned. Then, on June 23, 2018, he and Bianca tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by all their loved ones, possibly also including his two children from a previous relationship. After all, they all share a beautiful blended relationship, with Bianca even having embraced the role of a stepmother and helping raise them – Liam and Morgan – to the best of her abilities. What followed was the couple sharing a beautiful life at home, all the while also individually rising the ranks in WWE, from NXT to Raw to SmackDown to WrestleMania.
Bianca and Montez Are Leading a Fulfilling Life Today
Although Bianca and Montez are both wrestlers in WWE, an organization rather known for blurring the lines between personal and professional for stories, theirs have never really intertwined. The duo has competed together incredibly well in mixed tag team matches as well as shown up for each other during career-defining events. Still, their characters or narratives have never been woven. Honestly, this could be one of the significant reasons they have always managed to keep their union light-hearted, because even though they are co-workers, their spaces are still very much their own. As if that’s not enough, both Bianca and Montez are admittedly very careful about being partners first and co-workers, wrestlers, or anything else second.
“We always check in with each other,” Bianca once said. “We always, constantly check each other’s perspective… We’ve tried to focus on being each other’s wife and husband before being workers.” That’s how they are able to support one another unwaveringly – if one has a match and the other doesn’t, two travel tickets are still bought because not showing up is just not an option for them. The prime example of this is WrestleMania 41, which happened in 2025. Montez did not have a match, but he stayed up late with his wife to help her make her gear, traveled with her, and then saw her Triple Threat match live from the Gorilla room. He watched her make history as the first Black woman ever to headline a Main Event at WrestleMania, and he couldn’t be prouder.
In other words, there is no ego or pride between Bianca and Montez; there is only mutual care, love, understanding, and respect, which is all that really matters. Another secret to their success is their constant effort to stay carefree while also being thoughtful, meaning they might joke all the time, but they also do not shy away from showing off their love. This is evident from their individual and shared social media accounts, as seen above, where they genuinely do not mind sharing bits and pieces of their life together for the world to see. Whether it be traveling across the globe together, giving back to their community, or having quality time with their immediate and extended loved ones, they really do prioritize doing it all to ensure they live and love to the fullest.
