In ABC’s ‘Capturing Their Killer: The Girls on the High Bridge,’ the primary focus is on the murder case of Abigail “Abby” Williams and Liberty “Libby” German, who met their demise on the afternoon of February 13, 2017, while hiking the Monon High Bridge trail in Delphi, Indiana. As the investigation was launched, the detectives zeroed in on multiple suspects, one of them being Brad Holder, a follower of Odinism. The three-part documentary series delves deep into his possible connection with the crime and how the detectives dealt with it.
Brad Holder Was Considered a Suspect in the Murders of Abby Williams and Libby German
During the investigation into the murders of 13-year-old Abigail “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German in Delphi, Indiana, the authorities also suspected a couple of followers of Odinism — Brad Holder and Patrick Westfall. At the time, Brad was married to Amber Holder, with whom he shares three sons — Levi, Logan, and Lane. Out of them, Logan had dated Abby for a short while. Apart from that, Brad had also posted an image of runes on his social media account that allegedly seemed to resemble the way the remains of Abby and Libby were found near the Monon High Bridge trail.

The investigators believed that the girls walked in on Brad and Patrick during an Odinic ritual, after which they allegedly killed the teenagers. On top of that, after divorce, Brad’s former wife, Amber, also told the authorities that Patrick had confessed to killing Abby. However, she claimed that she was told about Patrick’s alleged confession by Brad, who had been drinking at the time. As for his alibi on the fateful day, records showed that he clocked out from his workplace at 2:45 pm and checked in at the gym in Logansport at 4:08 pm, while the murders supposedly took place between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Eventually, without examining his cell phone, Brad was cleared and eliminated as a suspect.
Brad Holder is a Grandfather Today
Family is at the center of Brad Holder’s world. He is a doting father of three sons — Levi, Logan, and Lane — whom he likely describes as the greatest blessings. While he was married to Amber when the case was ongoing in 2018, things didn’t work out between them, and they eventually went their separate ways. However, Brad shares a close bond with his sons and has remained an active part of their lives. An Army National Guard veteran, he served his country for 17 years and even completed two deployments abroad during that time. Back in the early 2010s, the Marietta, Georgia native worked at the Waste Management service called Liberty Landfill. However, he has kept the details of his current professional endeavor under wraps.
In his downtime, Brad loves to focus on his fitness and hit the gym. He also enjoys tending to his garden and shooting guns. His sons have grown up and have embarked on their respective journeys. His eldest, Levi, is now married to the love of his life, Megan Smith-Holder. After dating for over 4-5 years, the duo tied the knot in August 2022, in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their loved ones. As of today, the two are “living our best life together, one moment at a time.” In 2024, Brad became a grandfather when Levi and Megan embraced parenthood with open arms and are raising their adorable little baby girl, Wrenley, with unwavering love and warmth. Levi never misses an opportunity to express his affection and gratitude for his best friend and life partner. While he has hung up his uniform for some time now, he dedicated many years of service to the Marine Corps. Despite their busy lives, Brad Holder continues to be proud of the paths his sons are on.
