Directed by Christian Collerton, Disney+’s ‘Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth’ is a documentary series we can only describe as equal parts complex, harrowing, and intriguing. That’s because it follows the titular late British television presenter’s family as they investigate the truth about her final few months and the reality behind her sudden legal troubles. Therefore, of course, there is significant focus on her three siblings too – her elder sister Elizabeth “Lizzie” Flack, her elder brother Paul Flack, and her twin sister Jody “Jo” Flack.
Elizabeth Flack Has Always Preferred to Remain Well Away From the Limelight
It was reportedly in 1969 in London, England, when Elizabeth “Lizzie” Flack was born to homemaker Christine Flack and sales professional Ian Flack as the eldest of their 4 children. She was thus only a few years old when the family blissfully welcomed Paul Flack, and 10 when they brought home twins Jody Flack and Caroline Flack with just as much excitement. According to the aforementioned original, what no one ever expected was that Elizabeth would be so protective of her siblings that she would end up assuming a rather maternal role.

In fact, as per Christine, whenever the twin sisters woke up in the middle of the night as toddlers out of need for comfort, they both almost always went to Elizabeth and then slept in her bed. It was due to this level of care that she struggled to read tabloids or explore social media after Caroline decided to pursue a career in show business, because she never liked reading anything negative about her. Therefore, when the presenter was arrested following an alleged domestic matter with her then-boyfriend in late 2019, she initially only knew the limited narrative reported in mainstream news.
Owing to such relaying of information, Elizabeth did think Caroline should be “punished” for assault, just to later learn her sister’s real side of the story, and that not even the alleged victim wanted to press charges. Therefore, looking back now in terms of how everything played out and ultimately inadvertently resulted in the host’s death by suicide in February 2020, she carries a lot of guilt in her heart. Today, she is determined to keep her sister’s legacy alive by supporting the Flackstock music festival from behind the scenes, all the while quietly raising her own family in East England.
Paul Flack is a Proud Artist and Graphic Designer
Paul was reportedly the lighthearted individual in the family, who took full advantage of being the only boy and annoyed his three sisters at every opportunity while growing up. He seemingly maintained this position even as an adult, since they had all remained tight-knit – it didn’t matter if they lived near or far, they were always in touch and made frequent plans to get together. Hence, losing Caroline took a big toll on him, following which he decided to stop sharing anything about his life publicly, even if it was to indicate that he still thinks about his sister first thing every morning.
On a professional level, though, it’s evident that Paul is currently thriving as an Artist and Graphic Designer despite having no formal training in the field at any level. According to records, it was his sheer passion for art that led him to secure a spot in the print trade, gaining experience before being offered an opportunity at a London gallery. The truth is, he had already proven his mettle in terms of his skills, hard work, and determination while working in the music industry for a decade, so he was able to pivot.
Since then, from what we can tell, Paul has been working on projects that span everything from branding and cover designs to illustrations and portraits for various sectors. Whether it be book publishers, fashion designers, musicians, or private individuals/corporations of all levels, he has reportedly had them all for clients over the years. Thus, while he may have returned to his home county of Norfolk to raise his own family closer to his roots, he remains an active and dedicated creative being in every sense.
Jody Flack is a Dedicated Family Woman Who Prefers to Lead a Quiet Life Today
Although Jody and Caroline were twins, their connection wasn’t only biological because they genuinely loved spending time with one another and were indeed best friends. The former was 6 minutes older, but that didn’t matter much to them when it came to anything serious, since the care, love, and support between them was truly unwavering. In fact, Caroline once shared that they lead different lives as she is in entertainment while her twin is a happily married mother of three, yet it somehow only brought them closer.
Caroline also never shied away from taking to social media every year on their birthday to share how much she appreciated Jody, asserting that her backing has always meant the world. These feelings were obviously reciprocated, so it truly broke Jody’s heart when she had to see her twin go through a hard time in late 2019. However, she never could have imagined that she would find her dead in her apartment from suicide on February 15, 2020. So, she has since just been doing her best to keep Caroline’s memories alive in her heart and support the Flackstock music festival every year, all the while raising her three children in London. The entire family wants the truth about Caroline to come out, so they are making efforts to clear her name while also telling their new generation about who she really was.
