Chloe and Johny From 90 Day Fiancé: Everything We Know

When it comes to love, TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ never shies away from featuring unlikely couples, and season 7 is no exception. One of its most notable pairs is Chloe Fabiano and Jonathan Fernandes, AKA Johny, whose connection began with the backdrop of turquoise waters during a vacation. While the former is accustomed to a structured city life, the latter is a free-spirited individual who often spends his time amid the waters. As their connection became deeper, Chloe felt ready to travel across the ocean to be with her partner. However, the nature of Johny’s job resulted in complications.

Chloe and Johny’s Love Story Began on a Caribbean Vacation

The connection between Chloe Fabiano and Johny Fernandes sparked just like a scene out of a romantic film. She was on a carefree Caribbean vacation in Aruba when she first laid eyes on the charismatic pirate boat tour guide. What started out as a summer romance quickly turned into something much more meaningful. It wasn’t long before they fell head over heels for each other. With Chloe back in Boston, Massachusetts, and Johny in Aruba, they faced the inevitable challenges of a long-distance relationship. Her feelings had grown so much that she finally felt ready to trade the stability of her well-paying city job for the unknown island life. Although she was excited to start the new chapter, complications quickly surfaced.

The flirtatious nature of Johny’s work, where he has to entertain tourists, especially women, seemingly began putting a strain on their relationship. Speaking on the matter, Chloe expressed, “I really want to trust Jonathan, but it’s hard when he’s a booze cruise host.” Similarly, her friends and family back home voiced their skepticism about his work environment. The tension eventually boiled over when Chloe told Johny directly, in the presence of what seemed to be his friends, that her trust issues resulted from his behavior. However, Johny pushed back, insisting, “I want to go out with my friends, okay, you can’t control me like that.” The situation further spiraled when Chloe demanded, “Respect me. Respect what I f**king say.”

Chloe and Johny Have Kept the Status of Their Relationship Under Wraps

As of writing, Chloe and Johny no longer follow each other on Instagram. Furthermore, the lack of comments on each other’s posts may indicate that they may not have maintained much contact. While the former shared just one update related to the show, the latter has not communicated about the same. Furthermore, on her Instagram bio, Chloe currently describes herself as a “future ex-wife,” which may lean towards the possibility that their connection may not have worked out.

However, there are also conflicting signs since she still has one of her and Johny’s pictures in her highlights. In July 2025, she posted beautiful pictures from Aruba, captioning them with “until next time …” These signs have only fueled speculations among the fans. However, neither Chloe nor Johny has publicly acknowledged their relationship status. Whatever may be the case, we do hope that they find happiness in their respective lives.

Chloe Balances Wanderlust and City Life With Family and Friends by Her Side

When Chloe Fabiano first appeared on the show, she revealed that she had boldly decided to leave behind her six-figure job in Boston, Massachusetts, to move to Aruba. However, it seems that she is currently back in Boston. In August 2025, the Boston-based Game On Fenway sports bar featured her, stating that she can often be seen at the establishment. Thus, she appears to be leading a fulfilling life back in the city amidst her people. The reality star expresses her creative side through a VSCO account where she curates aesthetic snapshots of her life, showcasing her editing skills and knack for capturing effortlessly beautiful moments.

Even though her life looks different now, Chloe hasn’t let go of her love for the islands. In March 2024, she returned to Aruba and made incredible memories alongside her friends. She enjoyed her time basking in the sun in Miami, Florida, in April 2025, which was followed by her refreshing trip to Treasure Cay, Bahamas. No matter what, the blue waters of the ocean and the beach continue to be her sanctuary. In her personal life, Chloe’s bond with her mother is something that always keeps her grounded. They are often spotted traveling together, shopping, or swimming side-by-side in the ocean, further strengthening their already close relationship.

Chloe also never misses a chance to spend time with her furry pup. She is a sports enthusiast, which is showcased by the fact that she cheered for her favorite basketball team, the Boston Celtics, right from the sidelines in January 2025. Seven months later, she was back in the stadium to watch a baseball game. Her friends also play a significant role in her life. Whether it be attending sports matches together or even enjoying their time trying out new restaurants and bars, Chloe consistently finds immeasurable joy in their presence.

Johny Fernandes is Still Reeling From Loss But Finds Solace in the Water

Jonathan Fernandes, AKA Johny, has always lived a life shaped by the sea. From 2012 to 2014, he served at Flowrider Aruba, which he considers one of the best jobs he ever had because he could surf and spend his time in the water. Currently, he hosts a lively pirate ship excursion in Aruba named Jolly Pirates Aruba. He is a big fitness enthusiast whose passions revolve around outdoor activities. Some of them include skimboarding, kayaking, hiking, skateboarding, and even immersing himself in calisthenics. Johny often laces up his shoes for long runs and successfully finished the KLM Marathon in June 2018. It was a proud moment that showcased his endurance and determination. Apart from that, he always follows a strict workout routine. Besides practicing boxing in the ring, Johny never misses a jujutsu training session.

In May 2025, Johny emerged as the champion in a local jujutsu tournament. His adventurous nature is evident from his spontaneous getaway to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2019 and his most recent trip to Bogotá, Colombia, in June 2025. However, he suffered a major heartbreak when his mother passed away in 2023. In January 2024, Johny penned down his grief, writing, “This is the first year I have without my Mom. It is hard emotionally, mentally, and even physically. I can’t express how much I miss her or what I would do to see her again, but I know you are always with me. Blessing me with luck, good energy, and love. It has been hard, but I know I am only getting stronger. I love you Ma and thank you for everything you did for me.”

Johny recalled sweet memories of his mother while attending the Aruba carnival in February 2024, since she loved it very much. While thinking on the matter, he wrote, “Now at Carnival 70 I get to experience what my mom felt, and I know she was watching with a smile on her face the whole way.” However, he always finds immense happiness in the company of his furry pups, Khloe, Blaze, and Jack. He considers them his “best friends” and loves spending his free time cuddling with them on the couch. Through every adventure and heartbreak, Johny continues to embody the spirit of someone who never refuses to embrace life with open arms.
