One of the individuals investigated by Cecilie and Brianne is Christopher Lloyd, also referred to as the Major League scammer on the show.
Christopher Lloyd is Alleged to Have Convinced Multiple Women to Invest in His Firm
Christopher Earl Lloyd played baseball professionally, but it wasn’t for the LA Dodgers, as he allegedly told several women. According to one of his teammates, he had only had a few games of professional experience under his belt, and that too for the London Rippers. On Tinder, he met Lindsay Kresmery, whom he began dating. As per Lindsay, apart from claiming that he had a career in Major League Baseball, Christopher also told her that he was looking forward to starting a career as a financial manager. After gaining her trust, she claimed, he convinced her to invest her inheritance money in his company, Planet 13 Holdings, as an angel investor. She also alleged that he claimed to be an associate of an investment company called Landmark Associates.

Not long after, their romantic relationship ended, but they continued as business partners, given Lindsay’s investment, she said. She further mentioned that she got suspicious upon learning about a restraining order he reportedly had against him in Arizona, filed by a woman named Lauren Plaxco. She described that starting from April 2021, he had been posing as a successful financial expert, connecting with multiple women via Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble, and engaging in romantic relationships. Lindsay claimed that as soon as he gained their trust, he reportedly convinced the women to transfer him large sums of money. It was also alleged that he told the women that he had multiple properties to his name.
According to Lindsay, not only did Christopher promise to allegedly return their money with regular interest, but he also claimed that they could withdraw the investments any time they wanted. In order to make them believe that he was legitimate, she claimed, he allegedly forged contracts and schedules of investment returns. Further allegations mention that after receiving the money via Zelle, Cash App, or cash payments, Christopher would allegedly use it for personal benefit, such as writing a $40,000 cheque to a Lexus dealership in Mission Viejo in May 2023. According to reports, he had allegedly defrauded multiple women of more than $2 million.
