Claire: Where is Player 409 From Squid Game S2 Now?

Netflix’s ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ has remained one of the most entertaining reality TV series to date. Inspired by the globally acclaimed fictional drama, it brings to life simplified versions of traditional childhood games from Asia with intense, high-stakes twists. In its second season, Claire Felix entered the competition and had her eyes set on the cash prize, but quickly discovered that success would not come easily. Initially trying to stay low-key and play the underdog, she soon found herself in the spotlight and was forced to make difficult decisions to turn the game to her advantage.

Claire Felix’s Decision to Eliminate a Fellow Monitor Was Calculated

Claire Felix entered the season alongside her sister, Erin Felix (Player 393), though Erin’s time in the competition was cut short. Claire shared that she initially tried to avoid being in the spotlight, relying on both luck and strategy to advance. Her composed demeanor and quick thinking carried her into the top 22 contestants, where she formed a small circle of trusted allies. When one of the three monitors sacrificed himself, the remaining two selected Claire as a replacement and she was granted the power to make an elimination. Before making her choice, Claire conversed with several contestants and was particularly struck by Player 410, Isaiah, who bluntly stated that everyone should focus solely on their own survival rather than helping others.

Though his comment made sense in the context of the game, Claire later admitted in a private interview that his competitive edge made him a potential threat. She ultimately decided to eliminate Isaiah, explaining to the group that his approach felt overly aggressive and self-serving. Later, in the Slides and Ladders challenge, Claire paired with Player 110, Melissa, and successfully advanced. However, her journey came to an end in the Circle of Trust challenge, when she incorrectly identified Player 183, Steven, as the person who had eliminated her, when in reality, it was Player 412, AJ. This costly mistake sealed her fate and brought her time in the competition to a close.

Claire Felix is Happy to Have Her Family and Friends Around Her

Claire Felix has always been someone who loves trying new things and stepping out of her comfort zone. She grew up playing basketball and carried that passion all the way through college. Sports were a big part of her life until two ACL injuries and a meniscus tear forced her to hang up her jersey. Though it wasn’t an easy decision, she took it in stride and focused on other ways to challenge herself both personally and professionally. These days, Claire makes it a point to enjoy the time she gets away from work. She’s incredibly close to her family and friends and loves planning little get-togethers or big events that bring everyone together.

In April 2025, when her sister Erin Felix got married, Claire was front and center, helping with the planning, organizing details, and making sure everything went smoothly. Before that, in September 2024, the two shared a fun-filled bachelorette trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they celebrated in true sister style. Claire also has a bit of a traveler’s soul. Whenever she gets the chance, she loves exploring new places and soaking in new experiences. Recently, she spent some time in New York, where she wandered around Brooklyn, visited Fishkill Farms, and enjoyed the mix of city buzz and countryside calm. Even though she’s based in Portland, Maine, Claire doesn’t stay still for long. She loves seeing the world, meeting new people, and finding joy in the simple things.
