Clayton Howard: Where is the Former Sex Worker Now?

Netflix’s ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’ examines the long trail of allegations surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and traces the allegations of abuse and power imbalances. Through interviews with accusers, insiders, and industry observers, the documentary pieces together the accounts of individuals who describe what they characterize as experiences of control and exploitation. Among the most jarring and impactful accounts is the testimony of a former sex worker named Clayton Howard, who claims he was recruited for alleged “freak offs” with Combs and his then-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. On the show, Clayton discussed the timeline of his alleged interactions and his account of what he observed at the time.

Clayton Howard Alleged He Witnessed Cassie Ventura Being Physically Abused

Clayton Howard alleged that while working for an agency, he was booked by Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and asked to come to the London Hotel in New York City in 2009. According to him, after he arrived, a third person with their face covered allegedly entered the room and asked him to engage in sexual acts with Cassie while he watched. Clayton claimed that the individual later revealed himself to be Sean Combs, who was allegedly using the name “Frank Black” at the time. He further alleged that the encounter led to an arrangement that continued for nearly eight years, during which he was repeatedly contacted and allegedly expected to participate in similar situations.

Clayton said he was required to travel to different states to meet them, often on short notice, and that these alleged “freak-offs” sometimes lasted for days. According to him, the alleged experiences left him physically, mentally, and psychologically exhausted. Clayton also alleged that he witnessed Combs physically assaulting Cassie behind closed doors and described an environment where control and intimidation were constant. Throughout his interview, he claimed that the events that occurred during those years had a lasting impact on his well-being. All of these details remain allegations made by Clayton Howard, forming part of the broader accusations explored in the documentary.

Clayton Howard is Pursuing Legal Action Against Sean Combs and Cassie Ventura Today

Clayton Howard was subpoenaed for Sean Combs’ trial in May 2025 after prosecutors alleged he had been trafficked for prostitution and was one of the sex workers involved. Although he attempted to quash the subpoena, his efforts were unsuccessful. Nonetheless, he was never ultimately called to testify, and Combs was not found guilty of any sex-trafficking charges. In July 2025, Clayton filed a lawsuit against both Cassie Ventura and Sean Combs, alleging that Cassie was not only a victim, as she had portrayed herself during the proceedings, but also a perpetrator.

The suit accuses them of sex trafficking, human trafficking, and sexual assault. It seeks $35,000,000 in damages, along with full compensation for all past, present, and future medical expenses, mental-health treatment, prescription medications, and related costs. In the lawsuit, he alleged he was forced to have unprotected sex with the defendants, contracted an STD during that period, and that Cassie became pregnant with his child but underwent an abortion without informing him at the time.

In November 2025, he filed additional documents, alleging that Cassie had intentionally concealed her whereabouts to avoid being served. He also claimed that his statements in the Netflix documentary were heavily edited. Clayton has continued to speak publicly about his alleged involvement in the case. In June 2025, he released a book titled ‘Cassie: Victim or Co-conspirator: The Story of Dave’.
