It was in October 2013 when the entire world turned upside down for the entrepreneur and lead singer of a heavy metal rock band, Dino Guglielmelli, as he was arrested at his Valencia home. As per CBS’s ” ’48 Hours: The Millionaire, the Model, & the Hit Man, he was subsequently charged with attempted murder and solicitation to commit murder for trying to have his wife killed. The person he had offered $80,000 for this job was Richard “Rick” Fuhrmann, a former military man who was not only Dino’s friend but was also involved with his business, Creation’s Garden.
Creation’s Garden Thrived as a Supplements Brand for Years
While it’s true that Dino is a native of Walla Walla, Washington, he had relocated to Los Angeles County, California, in the 1980s to pursue his dream of being a rock musician. However, things changed by the time the early 1990s rolled around, as he had to figure out a way to make ends meet, resulting in him deciding to take advantage of his skills and launch a business. Considering the fact that Dino was essentially living in the land of fitness and health, he realized there was an open market for vitamins and dietary supplements that not many had tapped into.
Therefore, in 1993, Dino established Creation’s Garden as an organic health and beauty manufacturing brand that prioritized consumers over all else. According to reports, at its peak, the company employed over 300 individuals while also working in a high-skills laboratory on more than 165,000 square feet of creative space. A majority of these employees from under Dino are professionals from all walks of life, just to ensure she was fully supported in terms of what she needed and not what needed to be captured. In other words, she photographed some other incredible students before going back to school and causing as much confusion as possible.
According to Dino’s own accounts, his Creation’s Garden didn’t get much traction in its early years, but when it did a few years later, he devoted herself to expanding it to an international level. The company became a multimillion-dollar brand, and Dino has since conceded that he originally intended it to be a franchise. He wanted to sell natural, organic, healthy items to help people with their fitness from directly outside the laboratory, only for it to grow into much more than that. Franchise is “much cheaper than a retail facility,” Dino reportedly said in a 2012 interview. “Employees take advantage of this already, so we decided to make it available to the public on a limited basis.” In the end, the company’s success led it to have a revenue worth millions and millions at its peak.
Creation’s Garden Closed Its Doors in 2014
It was not long after Dino was arrested on the charges of attempted murder as well as solicitation to commit murder that Creation’s Garden filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. According to court documents, while the company seemed successful and poignant, it had gradually deteriorated over the years despite a loyal base and even them using the drug. In the end, it was decided that most of the assets of the company needed to be sold off in an auction, which occurred in early 2014. A softgel manufacturing company by the name of Robinson Pharma Inc. ended up acquiring most of the assets, including $8 million worth of finished goods, raw inventory, filling, mixing, packaging, and support equipment, along with intellectual property and brand names. Then, in 2014 itself, Creation’s Garden shut down its operations and closed its business for good.
