While it’s true that Cristhian Naranjo Gómez’s stint on Netflix’s ‘Too Hot to Handle: Spain’ was rather brief, he did manage to leave his mark by stirring up the pot quite a bit. He stepped into the experiment knowing what he was getting into and quickly made a move on the woman he was attracted to the most, without paying much heed to whether she was already coupled up or not. Little did he know this would have an influence on the entirety of his presence on the show, but he wasn’t really a villain, just someone who got caught up in the world of modern dating.
Cristhian Naranjo Gómez Found Himself in the Middle of a Love Triangle
Since 31-year-old Cristhian Naranjo Gómez arrived in the Caribbean as a bombshell, he was given an opportunity to pick a cast member for a date before even setting foot into the villa. He chose Saray Marin owing to her bright smile and sheer beauty, something she also genuinely felt excited about since she felt as if her current partner, Enri Sanchez, wasn’t the right fit for her. Therefore, the moment this duo first came across one another, they flirted without any hesitation while also making it clear that they were each other’s types to a tee, resulting in them even sharing a kiss.
However, things simmered down the moment they returned to the group hand-in-hand because Enri was visibly hurt; he genuinely liked her, even if he hadn’t been able to show her. Saray was honest with him about the kiss they shared as well as the fact that they’d decided to share a bed that night, and she was genuinely shocked when he expressed his feelings, which led to her being confused. She didn’t go back on her word, though, and spent the night in Cristhian’s bed so as to get to know him a little more, but she couldn’t really open up owing to her Enri being at the back of her mind.
This actually continued as the days passed, despite Cristhian doing his best to show her he was genuinely interested in her too, leading Lana to intervene and asking her to make a choice for good. Ultimately, she chose the man she had initially coupled up with, leaving Cristhian a little devastated because he knew he could have offered her the world if she gave him a chance. Unfortunately, although a few of the girls were single, there was no one else who even remotely interested him in a romantic sense, so he took what he had learned from the experience as well as the workshops and decided to return to the real world. He didn’t regret his actions one bit, which indicates he grew to be ready for real love.
Cristhian Naranjo Gómez is a Military Man Turned Model
While not a lot about Cristhian’s background or experiences is public knowledge, we do know he proudly hails from Torrent in Valencia, where his family ingrained in him the significance of hard work at an early age. Therefore, it wasn’t long after he graduated from high school that he decided to pursue his dreams, earning a degree in teaching while also becoming a military man whose priority was his nation and his people above all else. He thus considers himself a true Spaniard since he not only knows how to have a good time but is also disciplined and responsible when needed.
However, after a few years in these fields, around 2019, Cristhian admittedly grew a bit bored with the straight path he was on, leading him to decide to dabble in the world of modeling for a bit more excitement. He had no idea that within a short 4 years, this 1.94 meter tall, tanned, and toned local would find himself winning the renowned Mister RNB Spain Universal Knight 2021, besting 12 others for the title. He subsequently stated that although the military world and beauty pageants are often believed to be on opposite sides of a spectrum, he thinks they are rather aligned since they both require significant discipline and determination.
During an interview upon winning his title, Cristhian actually said, “My main goal is to represent my country in the most dignified way and do everything possible to take it to the top.” He added, “I would like to represent a man with an open mind based on respect for diversity,” showcasing his true strength of empathy, before confirming he hopes to one day make it on television. Since then, Cristhian has not only made his debut on Netflix with an international show but also continued thriving as a military man as well as a model, especially with his recent work alongside multiple fashion brands. As for his personal standing, whenever he is not working, the Valencia resident enjoys the fruits of his labor by traveling, undertaking new experiences, and splurging on his family. He claims he owes everything to them, so this is his small way of reciprocating their affection, care, and kindness.
