With unwavering authenticity, professionalism, and wit, Daisy Kelliher is arguably one of the most recognizable faces in the world of reality television, thanks to her time on Bravo’s ‘Below Deck.’ Most recently, the Chief Stewardess featured in season 4 of ‘Below Deck Down Under,’ giving the audience deeper insight into her work, who she is, and how she manages any challenge that comes her way. She proves time and time again that she is an undeniable force of nature, so here’s what we know about where she stands today.
Daisy Kelliher’s Connection to the Water is in Her Blood
Since Daisy is of Irish and French-American descent, she was raised in both Antigua and Ireland in a household that has cherished the water for generations. After all, her grandfather was an Irish Olympian who competed in sailing at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, with the family subsequently choosing to follow his legacy in any way they could. In fact, according to records, her parents, aunts, and uncles all ended up being involved in the yachting industry, which developed her passion for the same at a relatively young age, too.
“We definitely come from a strong sailing background,” Daisy once stated in an interview. “(My granddad) represented Ireland in the Olympics, my dad and all his siblings grew up sailing, then my grandparents retired on a boat and lived off it for several years. It’s something we’ve always grown up around. I think every family has a little hobby or passion, and sailing is ours.” According to her own accounts, she started out sailing on dinghies when she was around 12 years old, but she was never really a stranger to boats, water, or the vast world of the sea.
“I had always been around boats, whether it was on a sailing holiday or when we lived in Antigua, which has a huge sailing community,” Daisy asserted. “Even before 12, I was always familiar with boats.” It thus comes as no surprise that being a part of the industry deeply bonds the family too, making them all closer to one another in a way many can’t even begin to imagine. In fact, even her sister, Bonnie, who briefly featured in season 4 of ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’, is a chef on super yachts, and it’s evident that, like Daisy, she absolutely loves what she does.
Daisy Kelliher Has Been a Yacht Stewardess For Close to 15 Years
Daisy was merely 19 years old when she left her hometown of Dublin, Ireland, to attend university in the midlands of Shannon, after which she relocated to London, England, for good. According to her own accounts, that’s when she realized that the traditional career path was not for her and decided to travel, work on boats, and pursue her passion for sailing. The fact that she is a firm believer in change being necessary for growth continued to push her, resulting in her serving as a yacht stewardess for 8 years before she landed a spot in the ‘Below Deck’ franchise.
Since then, Daisy has been juggling being a stewardess and a public personality to the best of her abilities, knowing full well that her life has changed a lot over the past few years. “I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and over the years, I have realized this is when I am the best version of myself,” she once said. “I thrive in discomfort, even if it’s scary at first, so I try to do things out of my comfort zone when the opportunity arises.”
Therefore, of course, Daisy has embraced every opportunity to come her way with both hands, resulting in her evolving into a full-fledged media personality and influencer too. In fact, most recently, she featured in Eclair Magazine, is on the cover of the February 2026 issue of Lo’Amimi magazine, and is the proud co-host of the ‘Yacht Mess’ podcast with longtime friend and world-traveling director Marc MacNamara.

Daisy Kelliher Leads an Active, Honest, and Open Life
Although Daisy Kelliher is single as of writing, she hasn’t shied away from expressing how she hopes to one day find a forever love and build a happy family with them. However, because there is a biological clock for women and she doesn’t want to miss out on any experiences, she is very open about her journey of egg freezing and fertility. She had no idea that when she first started sharing this side of her story with the world, it would not only be very positively received but also inspire other women to be their own advocates.
“I get a lot of messages from women saying that they struggle in the workplace, and seeing my vulnerability and strength has inspired them to be the same, which honestly has been one of the most amazing things to come out of the show,” Daisy once shared. These kinds of messages, in turn, also encourage her to continue on the adventurous, spontaneous path she is on, pushing her to continue traveling, exploring different cultures, and embracing the beauty of the world. However, whenever Daisy is not traveling across the globe – enjoying places like Morocco, Los Angeles, Nevada, or more – she is happily building a life for herself in London. She visits her family in Ireland as much as possible, but she admits she feels more at home in London today.
