With Dylan Aguilar’s debut on Netflix’s ‘Love on the Spectrum’ season 4, his entire world has turned upside down as he has earned the affection of millions of people across the globe. The truth is that his romanticism is rather endearing, especially as he is vocal about wanting to find a forever partner with whom he can start the next chapter of his life and live out a fairytale. Unfortunately, his blind dates throughout the show didn’t pan out as he had expected, but he hasn’t given up hope because he knows in his heart that there is someone for everybody.
Dylan Aguilar Desires a True Love That Will Make Fairytales His Reality
When Dylan Aguilar nervously introduced himself on the reality dating docuseries, one of the first things he said was that he “wants to find love” and experience life like any 22-year-old. He later admitted that while he hasn’t ventured into dating yet, he believes falling in love would “be like a fairytale! True love. Like Cinderella, Snow White, or Sleeping Beauty, or whatever.” He once also indicated that he adores Shrek and Fiona, with his favorite scene from the Dreamworks movie being when they are “walking through the forest together and find a frog and a snake, then they blow them up like a balloon and give them to each other. It is such a sweet moment, but playful at the same time.”

It thus comes as no surprise that while he describes himself as goofy, kind, respectful, and someone with a lot of love to give, his ideal partner is fun, high-energy, and family-oriented like him. All of this indeed translated to his first-ever date with Caroline Taylor Corry and then his date with Melissa Andrea, but neither panned out despite him setting his best foot forward. However, although a little sad about there not being a mutual connection with either, he was still glad he faced his fears by putting himself out there as he finally began his quest for love.
Dylan Aguilar Cares Deeply About His Loved Ones
While Dylan was primarily raised by his single mother, Carmen Angel, in North Hollywood, California, he also shares a tight-knit bond with his aunt, Edith Angel, and cousin, Stephanie Azurdia. According to his own account, his mother’s side is Guatemalan, whereas his father’s side is Salvadoran, which is where he has a brother, too. Therefore, he not only knows Spanish but speaks it fluently to communicate with extended family on both sides whenever the opportunity arises. Mostly, though, he prefers to spend quality time with the 3 people he adores and a couple of close friends, wheather it be by watching movies, trying new restaurants, undertaking different experiences, or just hanging out in the home he shares with his mother in Los Angeles.
Dylan Aguilar is Deeply Passionate About Movies and Music
Dylan is a big fan of bowling, but his two core passions are movies and music because the deep emotions they illicit are a gateway into a whole new world. They are there when his own words aren’t enough, so he truly has no specific genre that he loves more than the other in either of those creative fields. Therefore, whenever he is not focusing on his growth in therapy sessions or spending time with loved ones, he is either listening to music, going to karaoke, or watching movies. In fact, his karaoke selection spans everything from pop to rock and hip-hop to Spanish singles, and he has seemingly seen over 10 brand new movies in the theater in the past year alone.
Dylan’s most recent watches include, ‘Hoppers,’ ‘Goat,’ ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,’ ‘Zootopia 2,’ ‘Wicked for Good’ ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie,’ ‘Freakier Friday,’ ‘Bad Guy,’ ‘Snow White,’ ‘A Complete Unknown,’ and ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3.’ We should also mention that it appears as if he loves shopping at Hot Topic, cherishes everything Disney, likes franchises such as ‘Creed’ and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is especially fond of bands like Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Green Day. It’s also noteworthy that he met Donald Glover by pure chance at a local Los Angeles restaurant in November 2025.
