Having not had a lot of luck in relationships throughout her life, 51-year-old Eliane “Lica” Neri stepped into Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind Brazil: It’s Never Too Late’ in the hopes of finding her perfect match. That’s where she came across 50-year-old Leonardo Vicentini, just to quickly realize they could have something special if they both decided to commit to one another for good. However, as time passed, past connections and unforeseen circumstances ended up giving them a lot more challenges than they expected, leading to them ultimately being in a difficult position.
Lica and Leonardo Initially Bonded Over Their Desire for Stability
From the moment Eliane “Lica” Neri first came across our screens, the divorced dog mom indicated that all she wants is to lead a peaceful life full of happiness, with no fears and worries. As for Leonardo, he made it clear that as a divorced father of three who has already experienced his fair share of relationship drama, all he wanted was a patient, understanding partner. He had no interest in playing games, and neither did she, so they connected from the very first day. It was his calming voice that initially drew her in, whereas her outlook on life is what really intrigued him.
The truth is, Lica did develop a connection with 67-year-old Rivo Abreu, too, yet as time passed and conversations kept flowing, she came to believe Leonardo was the right choice for her. The duo did have differences in terms of him being a fitness enthusiast and her being rather jealous by nature, but they openly discussed them to ensure it wouldn’t cause problems in the future. Thus came their beautiful engagement and an equally romantic reveal, during which they both conceded they were falling head over heels in love. It was as if they had finally found their forever love.
While Lica and Leonardo’s first meeting was undeniably passionate, things changed for them the moment they went on their honeymoon, as she realized how quiet her fiancé really is. She has a fiery personality and always thought she would be with someone more like her. Surprisingly, she witnessed Rivo display those same qualities. The fact that she didn’t feel the passion during physical intimacy didn’t help either, and neither did Rivo’s subsequent confession of wanting to leave his fiancée, Silvia Malanzuk, to explore a relationship with her. Lica didn’t hide the latter detail from Leonardo, though, following which they really did try to start afresh in the hopes of finding a lasting spark.
Lica and Leonardo Are No Longer Romantically Involved
Lica and Leonardo honestly seemed to be on the same page by the end of the Moroccan getaway, yet things changed the moment they returned to the real world. They had a conversation away from the cameras that brought all their issues to light once again, resulting in them arriving at their shared apartment separately. The duo did make efforts to reconnect by painting together, meeting one another’s loved ones, and just continuing with the intense flow of the experiment. However, within a couple of weeks, she was sure she didn’t see any kind of romantic future with him, so she decided to part ways with him for good. She wanted affection and passion, but he couldn’t change who he is to give it to her. From what we can tell, they never reconciled, and it appears they have also chosen not to maintain any contact between them. In other words, Lica and Leonardo have closed their chapter and chosen to move forward without looking back.

In other words, whenever the 50-year-old is not working or giving back to his community, he is either working out to maintain his physical health, spending quality time with his children, or undertaking new experiences like hiking.
