Erin and Danielle Gornik: Where is the What’s in the Box Pair Now?

With Netflix’s ‘What’s in the Box?’ being a high-stakes game show wherein rounds of trivia pave the way to reveal significant winning prizes, we get an original production unlike any other. It revolves around eight unique pairs of contestants as they test their smarts and strategy, all the while facing wildcards, decoys, and competitors who can turn from friends to enemies in the blink of an eye. Among them is actually Erin and Danielle Gornik, twin sisters who are admittedly inseparable as they prefer to do everything together while living inside “a bubble,” so the focus “is just us.”

Erin and Danielle Gornik Are Like Two Peas in a Pod

As proud natives of California hailing from an extremely kind, loving, supportive household full of trivia enthusiasts, twin sisters Erin and Danielle Gornik believe “trivia is in their blood.” According to their account, their father, Gerald, “literally creates word games” that are so good they have even been featured in newspapers, whereas their mother, Cindy, is the glue that brings everyone together. Therefore, with their familial background, history as straight-A students, and competitive spirit, they applied for the aforementioned Netflix series because they believed they had it in the bag.

As for their own bond, Erin and Danielle revealed in the original that they are true “womb mates” as they have always been side by side, can communicate with just one look, and are able to read each other’s minds. They even candidly stated the former is the younger, “irresponsible one” who needs to be taken care of, whereas the latter is older, sweeter, wiser, and never hesitates to be there for her twin. They essentially complement one another in all aspects, but alas, it did not really help them secure a big win in the game show, as a sudden prize fight brought their time on it to an early end.

Erin and Danielle Gornik Are No Strangers to the Limelight

It appears that Erin and Danielle are graduates of the comprehensive two-year program at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, as they already knew they did not want to pursue a traditional path. It thus comes as no surprise that they kick-started their career in 2018 as part-time bartenders for Oak View Group before spreading their wings to also become Brand Ambassadors for Anheuser-Busch Companies. Since then, they have also become Brand Ambassadors for Auto Shocker and begun dabbling in the entertainment industry as models, extras, and hosts for various film/television projects.

In fact, Erin and Danielle have served as extras in ‘Identity Thief,’ ‘Everybody Wants to Be an Italian,’ and a Capital One flash mob commercial prior to being background strippers in ‘MaXXXine.’ As if that’s not enough, they hosted ‘Off-Road Travel TV’ in 2024, engaging in activities such as driving trucks and essentially proving to the world that they are not the stereotypical “dumb blondes.” Over the past couple of years, the twin sisters have also started doing promotional modeling for various brands across the globe, including Hooters, Coca-Cola, and the Grand Prix, among others.

As per Erin and Danielle’s own accounts, they love undertaking such jobs because it enables them not only to travel the globe but also to hype up products/experiences that they genuinely adore. They thus continue to focus on expanding their career as actors, hosts, as well as models, all the while still serving as Brand Ambassadors and part-time skilled bartenders at major events like Coachella, Vans Warped Tour, and Stagecoach, along with many more. It’s imperative to note that the twins have also managed to establish themselves as rising public figures/influencers, with their content primarily focusing on their personal and travel experiences.

Erin and Danielle Gornik Currently Lead Happy, Fulfilling Lives

While it’s undeniable that Erin and Danielle are family-oriented, it’s important to specify they have maintained a tight-knit relationship with not just one another but their loving parents, too. In fact, it appears as if they take every opportunity they can to spend quality time with them, whether during the holidays, going on vacations together, or just hanging out at home. However, it seems like things have become a little complex for the twins recently because Erin has moved away from California, so as to build a life, a future, and possibly even a family with her true love.

From what we can tell, Erin has been romantically involved with Brandon Dore since at least 2023, and he blissfully got down on one knee for her sometime before the summer of 2025. In other words, she is engaged as of writing and is likely already in the process of planning her wedding. On the other hand, her Claremont, California-based twin Danielle has been in a happy, healthy relationship with Ryan Wagner since August 2024, meaning they have been together for around a year and a half as of writing.

We should mention that whenever the twins aren’t working or spending time with loved ones, they like to volunteer at an animal rescue shelter called Priceless Pets because it is a cause very close to their hearts. They are also big travel enthusiasts, with their most recent international trips being to Australia and Thailand in December 2025, where they explored the Great Barrier Reef, visited the Steve Irwin Zoo, and went White Water Rafting in Bali, before experiencing the local culture too.
