Fixed Plot Synopsis

The movie begins with a family adopting Bull, the dog, and welcoming him into their family. Two years later, the dog is a pivotal part of the family. However, he is a horny dog and can often be found dry humping the leg of his nana. When the family patriarch finds him doing so, he realizes he needs to do something about it. He takes the dog for a walk, where he meets his friends: Rocco (Idris Elba), Lucky (Bobby Moynihan), and Fetch (Fred Armisen). Rocco believes that Bull is different because he doesn’t lick himself like the other dogs. During the conversation, Bull reveals that he talks to Honey, who wants to be with him. Rocco doesn’t believe him and says he is not perfect for her. As they reach the park, they continue their conversation and see a dog named Luther in the corner. Luther is feeling miserable because his owners neutered him, and he now feels empty. That’s when a show dog, Sterling, appears and labels every other dog inferior, sparking a rivalry.

When Honey arrives in the park, Sterling (Beck Bennett) starts flirting with her and tells her she could win the Best of Breed Female category this year because of her appearance. Bull wants to say something, but his owners call him away. Meanwhile, Sterling asks Honey if she likes Bull, and how she answers that question reveals her true feelings for him. In the meantime, Bull reaches home, and his owners are spoiling him with everything they can. They even let him break the house rules. However, the fun time ends when they take him to the bathroom and make him drink Kool-Aid. This is the exact way how Luther’s owners tricked him before taking him to the vet. The following day, Bull meets his friends and tells them how he would feel like a zombie without his reproductive organ. His friends believe that he is being unreasonable because they are all neutered and feel fine. As a result, they leave him in the park, unwilling to talk to him.

When Bull reaches home, he realizes he must enjoy the night before his owners take him to the vet. He wants to tell Honey how much he loves her, but Honey’s owner calls her before he can say anything. Nevertheless, Bull wants to enjoy the night and escapes home. He enters the city and seems to be having fun before he comes face-to-face with a group of cats. Thankfully, his friends, Rocco, Lucky, and Fetch, reach there to help him. The group of cats attacks the dogs and chases them on the streets. Luckily, the dogs escape, and they all enjoy the night before Bull stumbles upon Honey, who will compete in the Dog Show. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier realizes that he must tell her his true feelings and follows her to the show. By the end of the movie, Bull finds himself in an awkward situation when the dog catchers nab him, putting him in a tight spot. He doesn’t have much time left, and if he is unable to tell Honey about his feelings, Sterling might become her partner.

Fixed Ending: Do Bull and Honey End Up Together?

In the initial narrative of ‘Fixed,’ it is clear that Bull loves Honey, and it seems the latter has feelings for him, too. However, neither dog is able to convey their feelings to one another. When Honey and Sterling talk in the park, the male dog asks her if she likes Bull. She awkwardly starts yapping about Bull and how weird he is. Yet, she also makes it clear that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is sweet and funny, which makes him a lovely friend. By the end of their conversation, Honey grows upset about being a show dog and asks Bull why he would like a show dog such as herself. Before escaping his house, Bull talks to Honey and tells her how his future plans are uncertain after his owner plans to take him to the vet for the operation. Nonetheless, before he could tell her all that, her owner called, and she left. In the aftermath, he leaves the house and starts having the time of his life. His friends, Rocco, Fetch, and Lucky, join him as they wander the streets.

Still, Bull accidentally meets Honey, who is going to compete at the Dog Show. Bull follows her with his friends and enters the venue. He finally sees her, but when he realizes that she looks happy with Sterling, he leaves the arena. When everything looks bleak, the group learns about a party where they can meet female dogs and have some fun. As a result, they reach the venue and see how everyone is having fun in their own way. There, Bull meets a female dog, Molasses, who, like Honey, is an Afghan Hound, and he strikes up a lighthearted conversation with her. Molasses wants to have sex with Bull and traps him. However, Bull turns upside down when Honey finds him and sees him in an awkward position with Molasses. She tries leaving, but that’s when the dog catchers appear and nab all the dogs. They are taken to what is a facility for the dogs. Honey’s owners get to know that she is at the facility and bring her back home.

Bull and his friends feel really sad about their fate, especially Bull. He is not only losing his reproductive organs, but he has also lost the love of his life. Even so, Rocco tells him that he can’t give up. As a result, Bull comes up with a plan to get out of the facility and asks every dog present there to piss on the floor so that the guards slip, giving them a chance to get the keys and break themselves out. The plan works successfully, and all the dogs can get out. Bull finally reaches Honey’s house and sees that Sterling is about to mate with her. He reaches the right time and tells Honey about his feelings. Consequently, Honey confesses her love for him, too. In the end, they get together and have a lot of babies. Their love story unravels like an offbeat, four-legged rom-com which blends canine chaos with genuine heart. From daring escapes to awkward love confessions, their journey doesn’t shy away from showing that love demands courage even in the animal world. It playfully yet touchingly reminds viewers that even a dog on the run from the vet can rewrite his fate.

Does Bull Get Neutered?

Apart from the love story of Bull and Honey, ‘Fixed’ also focuses on Bull’s journey as a dog. He has been an essential member of the family and has created a lot of happy moments. However, it is time for him to get rid of his reproductive organs, and his owners are ready to take him to the vet. They make him drink Kool-Aid and prepare him for the surgery. Bull doesn’t want to go to the vet, but he knows he has no other option. As a result, he plans to enjoy the night and do whatever he wants to do. For the same reason, he escapes the house and enters the city to have a fantastic night. His friends join him, and they start chasing squirrels on the streets. After causing mayhem on the roads, Bull accidentally meets Honey and follows her to the Dog Show. But the night doesn’t end here, and when Honey sees Bull with another female dog, she gets angry.

On the same night, the dog catchers nab Bull and his friends. After leaving their captivity, Bull wastes no time confessing his feelings to Honey. Luckily, Honey feels the same, and they both mate with each other. The following day, Bull’s owners take him to the vet and remove his reproductive organs. Although he feels uneasy, he is okay with it. This ending for Bull wraps his wild night with a bittersweet twist, showcasing that love and connection can outshine even life’s most challenging turns. Though he loses something physically, he gains a bond that makes him whole in a completely different manner. It’s a cheeky yet heartfelt nod to finding joy and meaning, no matter the circumstances.

Did Honey Win The Dog Show?

Another pivotal plot point of the film is Honey’s attempt to win the dog show. She is an Afghan-Hound show dog and Bull’s eternal crush. She takes a lot of care of herself and wants to find a partner. Yet, before that, she wants to win the Dog Show and display how amazing she is. When Sterling and Honey meet at the park, the male dog tells her she has a good chance of winning this year’s competition. Moreover, he assures her that she has everything she needs to become the winner of Best of Breed in the female category. Honey gets really excited after hearing this and continues talking to him. A few moments later, Bull sees Honey, and she looks prettier than usual. He compliments her on her look and says how pretty she is. Honey tells her that it is time for the competition, and to look at her ultimate best, she had a grooming session. She leaves for the show and enters the arena.

Fixed Netflix Movie

Even though she meets Bull on the way, her owner takes her straight to the competition venue and keeps her focused on the event. When Bull reaches the event, he hears the organizers announcing the winners in the Best Breed categories. Sterling wins the Best Breed Male accolade, while Honey takes home the trophy in the Female category. This is her first award and she feels really happy. However, she quickly realizes that winning isn’t everything when her competitors start feeling bad about themselves. This makes her realize how Bull always wanted her to be different than others. Although she won the title, she thought she would rather share this moment with Bull.

By showing this perspective, the film leaves no stone unturned in reminding everyone that true fulfillment comes from connection, not accolades. Standing with her trophy, Honey realizes that every person in the competition wants to jump over and get their hands on the award by any means. It makes her realize that winning doesn’t solve everything. Instead, it creates a lot of division among the contestants. Honey sees how the trophy stirs envy instead of joy, turning celebration into quiet rivalry. In that instant, she understands that kindness and connection matter far more than any title. In that moment, the applause fades, and love becomes her real prize.
