The sixteenth season of ABC’s Shark Tank served as a platform for a plethora of innovative businesses. In the fifteenth episode, we get introduced to one such futuristic product — Dream Park (formerly Future Circus) — by Brent Bushnell, who is the co-founder of the company alongside Aidan Wolf and Kevin Habich. The virtual yet immersive experience offered by the team was pitched in front of the Sharks, hoping to get at least one of them on board and sail toward success.
Future Circus: Who Are They and What Do They Do?
The conception of Future Circus, now Dream Park Immersive, was the result of the collaborative efforts of not one but three individuals—Brent Bushnell, Aidan Wolf, and Kevin Habich. To develop a unique experience that thoroughly complements the contemporary world, the three utilized everything they learned from their background in Computer Science and Engineering as well as the experience they garnered in their professional careers over the years. After obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999, Brent enrolled at UCLA to pursue Computer Science from 2003 to 2006. He served as CTO at various companies, such as uWink Inc. and Tapcode Inc., at the start of his career.
In the late 2000s, Brent donned the hats of the Founding Member at Syyn Labs as well as the CEO at Doppelgames, Inc. until he took them off in 2012. In 2011, he worked as an Inventor and Designer for ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.’ At intervals between 2008 and 2019, Brent served as an Advisor at several institutions — Hospitality Technology, The Los Angeles Film School, Anti-Aging Games LLC, and USC Grief Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Since he assumed the position of Co-founder of Future Circus in March 2024, the Sir Edmund Hillary Fellow has been exercising his passion for developing games, rapid prototyping, and fun virtual experiences. Aside from that, Brent continues to showcase his visions and offer his leadership as the Executive Producer at Strange Outfit, Chairman at Two Bit Circus Foundation, and CEO and Founder of Two Bit Circus.
Aidan Wolf always had high hopes for his future. When he was just 17, he was an aspiring entrepreneur, having developed multiple games for iOS, Android, Kindle, and Nook. On the educational front, he completed a one-year Game Development and Programming course from Becker College in 2014 and went on to pursue Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In June 2011, he began interning at the Senate Campaign in Connecticut. He then worked as a developer at Pixel Delight Studios LLC and app.etite for over a year in the mid-2010s. Putting his drive for making Artificial Reality accessible at full gear, Aidan filled the position of the Co-founder of companies such as Encapsule, Kevaid, and AR House, and ultimately, Dream Park Immersive in January 2024. As of writing, he is also the Founder of Smiley Cap, which he established in January 2022.
Kevin Habich is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Illinois Chicago (2004-2008). Back in 1991, he served as the Director of All you can eat seafood at Applebees International for two years. It was in May 2006 that he interned as a Lifeguard at Palos Heights Pool for over a year. Later, he assumed the position of a software engineer at a couple of companies — ACNielsen and Tata Consultancy Services. In 2013, he co-founded Frameri, where he also served as the CTO. After cutting ties with it, he co-founded Kevaid, a company he still runs to this day. Interestingly, before working at Dream Park, he had worked with Aidan Wolf at AR House as a Community Ops.
The company provides virtual amusement and theme parks that can be downloaded and set up in any unrestricted public space you wish. Whether it be parks, open fields, arenas, or backyards, you can gift yourself an immersive experience with Dream Park anywhere. Their goal behind introducing the mixed-reality offering is to ensure people have easy accessibility to the “revolutionary experience,” one everyone can enjoy as a community. Just wear comfortable clothing, tie your shoelaces, wear the headset, and let the adventure begin!
Future Circus: Where Are They Now?
At first, Brent Bushnell, Aidan Wolf, and Kevin Habich called their creation Future Circus, which is the name they used to pitch it to the esteemed sharks at ‘Shark Tank’ as well. However, there were some changes in their plan, which resulted in them changing the name to Dream Park. Since the appearance of the show, the company has only improved its quality and furthered its vision. From bringing people out onto the streets of Santa Monica to enthralling the San Franciscans, it won’t be an exaggeration to say that the “world’s first outdoor mixed reality theme park” is setting the stage for success. In February 2025, they decked up the Third Street Promenade in the heart of downtown Santa Monica, California, by building Super Adventure Land.
Super Adventure Land is a fun park that enables the player to break bricks and collect coins that are either suspended in the air or layered over lava pits, all while dodging the cannonballs and jubbos. After satiating the adventure enthusiasts in the iconic shopping, dining, and entertainment complex of Santa Monica, the team moved on to San Francisco, particularly the Fort Mason Center Farmers’ Market and the office of Founders, Inc., in March 2025. After witnessing the positive feedback from participants, Dream Park decided to take the social gaming experience up a notch and set up a grand opening at the popular Yerba Buena Gardens in the center of the art district of San Francisco on March 17 as part of the Game Developers Conference.
Honoring the open invite, individuals of all ages turned up to relish the fun experience. Alongside the usual obstacle courses, the team also added an exclusive battle with the captain of a flying ship — Cannonsnout! As of today, Dream Park deploys Super Adventure Land and is gearing up to introduce new parks. One of them is a Wand Duel arena, which comprises magic potions, fire-breathing dragons, and battle wizards in a Player Vs. Player wand battle. The team has also teased a Reality Racing park that would include a racer-themed experience. As far as the future is concerned, Dream Park aims to strive towards delivering on the promise of bringing the community together by offering them “their own personal Disney World.”
