Gabriel Suarez’s Success Was Followed By Unforeseen Legal Troubles He Had No Part in
When Gabriel Suarez was in his early 30s, he opened his skincare boutique, Smooth Cheeks, in June 2013. In the weeks before opening his business, he had the space renovated, and the construction noise led to his first interaction with another esthetician in the same building, Dawn DaLuise. Around the time Gabriel’s clinic began to gain popularity, Dawn reported receiving threatening messages and discovering her tires getting slashed. Believing the incidents to have stemmed from professional tensions, she shared her suspicions with her friend, Edward Feinstein, despite there being no proof linking Gabriel to them.
According to court records, Dawn later found herself at the center of an investigation alleging that she sought the assistance of a former NFL player, Chris Geile, in a plot against the rival esthetician, Gabriel, on her behalf. However, she vehemently denied the claims. In 2014, Gabriel’s property was visited by the police and searched for any evidence that could prove that he was responsible for Dawn’s harassment. They couldn’t find anything against him. Per court records, based on the investigation, the authorities arrested and charged Dawn with solicitation of murder. Ultimately, she was acquitted of her charges.

Gabriel Suarez earned a post-graduate training from the International Dermal Institute before opening a business of his own. With over 13 years of experience as a licensed esthetician in California, Gabriel Suarez continues to provide skin care services, waxing services, and body grooming services through his clinic, Smooth Cheeks. Throughout his career, he has also worked at several renowned salons in Los Angeles. Prioritizing top-notch customer service and utilizing the latest skincare and waxing technology, he ensures that his clients are treated and provided for with the best and utmost care.
His company, Smooth Cheeks, has been recognized and featured in the LA Times, People Magazine, and on Fox, CBS, and ABC. The Baldwin Park, California, resident is a social individual who loves traveling and hanging out with his friends. Moreover, he attends pride parades and other events with his friends. In October 2025, he attended the Miss Mar Vista event with a few of his friends. In his free time, Gabriel also likes to spend time at the beach, enjoying the sound of the waves. A gym freak, the esthetician is also passionate about working out and staying fit.
