Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind: France’ lives up to the reputation of its parent production as well as all its international variations. The series not only follows hopeful singles as they fall in love sight unseen before deciding whether or not they are ready for forever, but it also comprises a lot of drama to go alongside it. This time around, a significant contributor to the spectacle was Gallien Braghini, whom producers actually removed fr om the experiment halfway into the initial pod/dating stage.
Gallien Braghini Broke a Key Rule of the Experience
The moment Gallien Braghini first came across our screens, he did not shy away from conceding that he is a bit on the wild side, as he really likes to go out, have fun, flirt, and party. “My life has always been filled with adventure,” he added. “Moving around, travels, challenges,” yet now that he was 37 years old, he wanted to settle down with a home, wife, and kids. The fact that his peers were building a family was what made him realize he was ready for this step because he found himself growing envious of their connections and future plans.
Gallien admitted to liking Tatiana Bazin from the get-go, but he seemingly remained patient even while she was holding back owing to her initial connection with Thomas Belmonte. However, once the latter chose Kim Musano as his partner, he completely honed in on the 39-year-old single mother, whom he found “very, very cute” despite having just heard her voice. She was gradually starting to open up to him, too, admitting that he and Yannick Yamanga were her top choices, but everything turned upside down not long after, as he was ejected.
It was at the beginning of episode 3 when a title card revealed Gallien was no longer part of the experiment because he interacted “with the outside world,” which was against the rules. Thomas subsequently told Tatiana he was glad for this because it prevented her from being with the wrong guy in the long run, adding he might not have picked her, but he still cared. Therefore, he revealed that while they were all trying to find their forever partners within the pods, her crush “saw a girl at a hotel… a couple of times,” resulting in his immediate removal.

Gallien Braghini is Thriving as a Party Bus Entrepreneur Today
Gallien himself never elaborated on the reason behind his ejection. Yet, he did take some responsibility by admitting he did break the rule of remaining in a bubble during filming. He stated, “I wasn’t necessarily hoping that this adventure would have, uh, a fairy tale ending, but now I’m leaving through the side door, which is pretty pathetic. I feel bad for the girls for not being… For not finishing what we started… I only have myself to blame.” Since then, though, from what we can tell, the 37-year-old has returned to his seemingly normal life in Guadeloupe, France, where he serves as a proud entrepreneur, as the Founder-CEO of Venaïa Party Bus. According to reports, Gallien kick-started his career in 1999 as a professional football athlete, playing in the position of a goalkeeper in the AJ Auxerre football club in Ligue 1.
He stayed there until 2004, after which he shifted gears and worked as a Public Relations Officer at a local company called Orange from 2009 to 2013. He then became the Hospitality Production Manager at Paris Saint-Germain for a year before relocating to Canada, where he served as a Soccer Coach at CF Montreal until 2017. Gallien actually returned to his homeland of Guadeloupe in 2018, where he worked as an Event and Entertainment Customer Service Manager at Derichebourg Multiservices Holding. It was there he realized he wanted to be an entrepreneur, offering people like him who enjoy going out and partying a place to do so in a safe yet hip manner, resulting in Venaïa. The 2019-established company essentially provides open-top premium party buses for private and tourist events across Guadeloupe, and they soon hope to expand.
“I liked the concept of the party vehicle, a bit of a hybrid, with (which we could) do lots of things,” Gallien said in an interview. “In Canada, this type of vehicle is very developed,” so he took the idea of it, evolved it as per his business needs, and then launched his brand in April 2019. It’s imperative to note that the 37-year-old travel enthusiast actually has a double Master’s in Economics as well as International Purchasing from the University of Évry Val d’Essonne (2012), so he definitely applied his knowledge from there in his company. Whether it be the different islands across Guadeloupe, Paris and Saint-Tropez in France, Montreal in Canada, The Saints islands in England, and Alcudia in Mallorca, Gallien has been everywhere in the past few years.
