At the end of ‘Glory’ season 1, the inciting mystery surrounding the attack on Gudiya and Nihal’s lives comes to a conclusive climax. Yet, the story closes on a cliffhanger as Dev confronts his father, Coach Raghubir Singh, from the other side of a gun’s barrel. Although a body can be heard hitting the ground, the show keeps the identity of the shot individual a secret, pitching the fates of both the father and the son in ambiguity.
Meanwhile, the younger brother, Ravi, puts his life on the line and successfully secures a spot for himself as India’s pick for the upcoming Olympics. Consequently, in the finale, the show leaves plenty of opportunities open to further its storytelling through future season(s). However, in the absence of an official confirmation about another season, fans have no choice but to wait for the show to be greenlit for season 2. If a renewal arrives in time, a continuation of the story may be on the horizon sometime around 2028.
Glory Season 2 Will Resolve Dev and Coach Raghubir’s Uncertain Fates
The cliffhanger introduced in the finale of season 1 naturally becomes the most notable plot point that a potential season 2 would inevitably have to rehash as it dives back into the lives of the Singh family. The revelation that Coach Raghubir had been behind the death of his own daughter adds a chilling new dynamic to the storyline. It brings out the reality of a sleeper antagonist who has been acting as a supportive character in Dev and Ravi’s narratives from the start. Therefore, his possible death would present a charged starting point for a new season.

At the same time, it would also introduce new complications as Dev’s possible decision to shoot his father will definitely result in psychological and legal repercussions for him. On the other hand, if the climactic gunshot finds the eldest son as its victim, it would instill a whole new world of trouble into the protagonists’ lives. Since Dev is one of the few people who know the full truth about what happened to Gudiya, he is an instrumental game piece, whose absence, even the momentary kind, will lead to overarching consequences. As such, regardless of which way the needle eventually falls, any continuation of the series will remain highly impacted by the aftermath of the climactic gunfight.
Glory Season 2 Will Likely See the Return of Most of the Central Cast Members
At its core, ‘Glory’ proves to be a character-driven story where the community and culture of Shaktigarh, Haryana, significantly inform the identity of the narrative. For the same reason, fans can expect the world of the boxing crime series to remain much the same in the event of a season 2 renewal. The show will most likely return with the same co-leads, Divyendu Sharma and Pulkit Samrat, reprising their roles of Dev and Ravi Singh. On the other hand, many of the characters who define the landscape of the protagonists’ hometown can also be expected to return. This includes individuals like Viju Sangwan (Ashutosh Rana), Village head Mr. Dhanda (Yashpal Sharma), and gangster Kuki Yadav (Sikandar Kher).

Similarly, characters with close connections to Ravi and Dev’s narratives also have a high chance of returning to further expand the brothers and their own personal storylines. Consequently, characters like journalist Joyna (Sayani Gupta), Bharti (Kashmira Pardeshi), Ravi’s rival Raka (Kunal Thakur), and DSP Phogat (Zakir Hussain) will likely make their comebacks. As for Suvinder Vicky, who plays the role of another significant member of the Singh family, Coach Raghubir, his return to the series will depend entirely on the creative direction that season 2 decides to take with his character. Lastly, Gudiya (Jannat Zubair Rahmani) and Nihal (Yugam Sood), whose proverbial ghosts perpetually haunt the narrative in season 2, only have a chance of returning through flashback sequences.
Glory Season 2 Will Find Ravi on the Path to Becoming an Olympian
While season 1 leaves Dev’s storyline at a damning turn, Ravi’s narrative remains an entirely different case. At the start of the story, the younger brother is introduced as a former boxer who has taken a vow to never hurt another person physically ever again. This promise is quickly broken following his return to Shaktigarh, where he has a big red target on his back. Furthermore, parts of his investigation into Gudiya’s death back him into corners where he has to restore his fighter persona in order to move forward. However, his father and coach, Raghubir, end up exploiting these instances to lure him back into the world of competitive boxing.

Consequently, in the finale, Ravi finds himself entering the ring once again in order to win the title of his country’s next Olympic pick. However, as he backslides into his old self, some old habits also resurface. This includes an all-or-nothing approach to the sport, which compels him to fight even after sustaining a brutal injury in the aftermath of a targeted illegal attack from his opponent the night before the match. Yet, despite the odds stacked against him, Ravi goes on to secure a victory. As such, the boxer will effectively be on his way to the Olympics when and if the show expands into a season 2. Thus, the narrative can be expected to deal with the highs and lows he’ll face as an athlete headed for the Olympics.
