Although Haley Drexler and Magan Mourad stepped into Netflix’s ‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love’ season 2 in long-term relationships they were deterimes to make work, fate apparently had different plans. While the former seemed set to tie the knot with her girlfriend of a decade, Pilar Dizon, the latter appeared set on growing in a way to possibly give her girlfriend of a year and a half the life she desired. However, things changed for them the moment they first came across one another, realizing that maybe a happy future could be achieved without them having to make major sacrifices.
Haley and Magan Got Along Like a House on Fire
While the initial speed dating round following the original couple’s immediate split didn’t do much for either Haley or Magan apart from just raising intrigue in one another, a proper date really helped. That’s actually where they realize that they share a lot of the core values and beliefs, making Magan feel comfortable for the first time since she agreed to the social experiment. The only point where they seemed to have a difference was when Haley said she didn’t want children because the entire idea of a pregnancy was scary to her, just for Magan to say she’d carry the child for them.
As time passed, Haley and Magan only grew closer, so of course, they ended up choosing one another for the first trial marriage without any hesitation. Together, they spoke of not only their similar approach to life and the importance of communication but also helped one another find their own voice and grow into self-assured individuals. For the first time, they felt as if they could let go of labels and be equals in their relationship, because they were able to effortlessly take care of each other and be in lock-step with daily tasks. They just bounced off one another, and it worked perfectly.
This level of affection and comfort between Haley and Magan actually went to such an extent that they even decided to go with the flow of their connection, which blurred the lines for them. After all, they connected not only emotionally but also physically with no regrets – they knew that if they didn’t explore their bond, they’d regret it later, so they chose to follow their hearts with full authenticity. In fact, by the end of their trial marriage, they’d even admitted they were in love with one another, an undeniable fact they didn’t hide from their original partners upon reuniting either.
Despite Everything, It Doesn’t Appear As if Haley and Magan Are Still Romantically Involved
With the way Haley and Magan’s relationship had progressed, the former had gone as far as to admit that she could see getting married to and having a family with the latter. Magan shared the same sentiments and was still open to carrying their children for them in the future, if need be, but things changed once they started their trial marriage with their original girlfriends. After all, their history could not be removed, and while there were some lines crossed from the other side too, the love was still there, so it appears as if Haley and Magan didn’t actually end up together. It’s imperative to note that since they had vehemently maintained that no matter what, they would still be a part of each other’s lives forever, it doesn’t seem like that panned out either. In fact, they don’t appear to be in touch in any way at all – they don’t even follow one another on their social media accounts, let alone show support via likes or comments.
Haley and Magan Are Both Dedicated Professionals and Fitness Enthusiasts
Born and raised in Sonoma County, California, Haley was always surrounded by good food and great wine, which sparked her interest in food from an early age. Therefore, she decided to pursue a career in the same, and she currently, proudly serves as Senior Food Scientist at a company by the name of Mattson, all the while still happily residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Coming to her personal standing, whenever she is not working, she prefers to focus on her fitness by working out, spend quality time with her loved ones, especially her mother and twin sister, and travel alongside her beloved dog Hunter.
As for Magan, the Wayne State University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, is a professional physical trainer, a passionate musician, as well as a business manager. Based out of Detroit, Michigan, the former CrossFit Coach and Medical Scribe is currently a Manager at Dynamic Cleaners, a position she has held since 2021. Moreover, and more importantly, she is a proud fitness enthusiast who is presently also pursuing her dreams of becoming a musician by serving as an event pianist in her city. Honestly, we can’t wait to see what’s in the cards for her next.
