If there’s one thing absolutely nobody can deny, it’s that Haley Lindell went through a lot of highs and lows throughout her stint on Fox’s ‘Extracted’ season 1, despite her team of cousins doing everything to help her. Karly Sauve and Natalie Michaels did their best to help her at every step of the way, but there were some things, like all of her supplies, her not being able to get a sleeping bag, or her health, that were out of their control. However, when they did get a chance to put their real connection to the test before also getting to talk to her, the woman they had long ago nicknamed Shark, they did so well that they ended up walking away with the $250,000 grand prize.
Haley Lindell is an Outdoor Enthusiast Through and Through
Although a native of Shoreham, Long Island, in New York, Haley Lindell has always had an interest in the outdoors thanks to her family, considering they often vacationed together. Whether it be camping, hiking, fishing, or simply being by the beach, she grew up surrounded by all these activities and hence eventually developed a passion for the same. In fact, water activities became her favorite, driving her to hone in on them further, all the while also continuing her education with the dream of one day establishing a business of her own to help others.
Therefore, once Haley graduated from high school, she decided to continue pursuing her aspirations with a degree in Business Management at Clemson University in South Carolina. There, she majored in pre-business during her first two years, followed by management in the latter two, all the while making the Dean’s List at Clemson University during the former and the President’s List at Clemson University in the latter. She also held a couple of internships during this period to gain some significant on-field experience, resulting in her graduating in 2021.
However, this former Kappa Delta sorority member has since relocated to Maine for good, where she is currently living her dream by being beside the water all the time. After all, she currently serves as a bartender, boating guide, and trainer with Three Rivers Whitewater Rafting, for which she has all the necessary licenses and requirements. These include basic CPR and AED, experience with Wilderness First Aid, and the local Level 1 Maine River Guide License. As if that’s not enough, today, at the age of 26, she is also a travel enthusiast whose base is actually a self-proclaimed hippie bus in Maine. From Australia to Bali to the Gauley Rivers in West Virginia, she has been everywhere in the past few years alone.
Sports Lover Karly Sauve Prefers to Lead a Rather Quiet Life Today
Having grown up alongside Haley, Karly Sauve has spent the majority of her time outdoors too. However, unlike her closest friend and cousin, she gravitated not towards activities but sports growing up. In fact, by the time she was a junior in college, she had honed her skills to such an extent that she was actually a part of the women’s soccer team there. Standing at 5’2,” she was actually a Forward as well as a Midfielder during her time at St. Joseph University’s Golden Eagles, where he shone. Since then, it appears as if she has chosen to continue down this path and is currently a part of a North Beach, Long Island, Indoor Volleyball Team, with whom she recently even won their mixed 6’s Tournament.
Coming to her personal standing, despite Karly’s appearance in the reality competition production on Fox, it actually appears as if she prefers to keep her personal and professional experiences well away from the limelight. After all, she has never once publicly shared anything about her background, her early years, her relationships, or her hobbies -apart from sports and spending quality time with family. All we know through her social media platforms is that she is seemingly currently on a journey to find herself by immersing herself in the world of beauty, beaches, creativity, and words.
Natalie Michaels is a Proud Professional Nurse
While Natalie did specify in ‘Extracted’ that she is a nurse, she is also much more. She has really worked hard to reach where she is today, but more importantly, she is empathic, kind, and caring – qualities that make a great nurse. From what we can tell, the New York native graduated from Mount Sinai High School in 2017, after which she enrolled at Sacred Heart University for a degree in Nursing. She also did a semester in Ireland to expand her wings. As if that’s not enough, she made sure to start gaining experience early on, so she served as a Home Care Assistant for a while before doing several clinical stints at Samford Hospital under different departments.
Since then, though, Natalie has not only graduated but earned the necessary certifications to be a registered nurse, which has enabled her to now be a specialized nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). On a more personal level, Natalie is a big music and travel enthusiast, with her favorite band being Greta Van Fleet. In fact, she saw them live 4 times in 3 cities across 7 days in 2023, which was another experience for her after having seen them live several times before at different stages too. Moreover, it’s imperative to note that over the past few years, she has been to not just Ireland, but also Israel, Spain, France, and several states across the US like Philadelphia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, and Utah too, making it clear that she loves to travel. She is now also great friends with Abby Hayes from ‘Extracted,’ and can often be seen hanging out with her.
