Hamda Al Qubaisi’s Net Worth: How Rich is the F1 Academy Race Driver?

As the daughter of Emirati home maker Kaouthar and former businessman turned professional racing driver Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Hamda Al Qubaisi has all the comforts of life. However, instead of letting it leave her indifferent and unmotivated, she has actually utilized all her resources to find her true passion before pursuing a career in the same, as explored in Netflix’s ‘F1: The Academy.’ It just so happens that her passion is motorsports, open-wheel single-seat racing, in particular — the same field her father, as well as her sister, have dominated at one point or another.

How Did Hamda Al Qubaisi Earn Her Money?

Although Hamda Al Qubaisi spent the majority of her early years on racetracks, watching her father compete in numerous leagues, she was 13 when she herself first got behind the wheel. This was roughly a year after her elder sister, Amna Al Qubaisi, had done so, so she had certainly gained encouragement and knowledge through observation that she was ready to kickstart her own racing journey. She made her professional racing debut the same year and quickly established such a name for herself that she was invited to the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2016.

According to records, Hamda competed in the X30 Championship in 2017, the Rotax Max Challenge in 2018,  and the IAME Series UAE from 2018 to 2020, all the while also expanding her wings. We say this because she first competed in the Italian Formula 4 Championship under the banner of Abu Dhabi Racing in 2019, just to move forward and land a spot in the Formula 4 UAE Championship too. From here, she also dabbled in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship, the Formula Regional Asian Championship, and the Formula Regional European Championship.

A crash in 2023 did leave her confidence a little shaken as she reportedly suffered a fractured wrist and torn radius, but she made a full recovery before returning to the racetrack within weeks to continue dominating. This was the same year she stepped foot into the F1 Academy and concluded her season in 3rd place, just to return in 2024, gradually work on her fears, and move up to finish her journey in 5th place. She even did so while partaking in the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, but she has since moved on to compete in the F4 Middle East Championship and is now a part of the Ligier European Series under Team Virage, right alongside her elder sister. Her skills are evident in all that she does.

Hamda Al Qubaisi’s Net Worth

Since Hamda Al Qubaisi has been following in her family’s footsteps and racing professionally for over a decade as of writing, she has undeniably managed to accumulate some wealth of her own. This comes from all her contracts with teams across various leagues, the different sponsorships associated with her name, and the possible bonuses she’s earned thanks to her performances and podium finishes. Of course, a significant part of that does likely go back into her racing career, since it’s an incredibly expensive sport—with drivers having to cover costs like their car, track time, helmets, engineers, and equipment—but she seems perfectly content with it.

Starting with Hamda’s sponsorships, her name has been tied to several big brands over the past few years, including Adidas, Fenty Beauty, Pepe Jeans, and more. Given her positive standing in the industry, plus backing from teams like Team Virage, MP Motorsport, and Red Bull, it’s likely she brings in close to $70,000 per year from these deals alone.

As for her winnings, while she’s had some great moments on the track, many of her podiums haven’t come with cash prizes. Instead, they’ve helped secure her future in the industry. Per our estimates, 22-year-old Hamda has likely earned around $50,000 in podium finish prizes and bonuses across her career so far.

It’s also worth mentioning that she has an additional income stream through her social media platforms—her Instagram, her TikTok, and the YouTube channel she shares with her sister, Amna. As a public figure, she likely earns up to $5 per 1,000 views, and with 122K followers on Instagram, 118K on TikTok, and a total of 150,000 impressions on YouTube, she could be bringing in around $30,000 per year from her online presence.

Taking all these factors into account—her sponsorships, race earnings, social media income, and expenses—we estimate that Hamda Al Qubaisi’s current net worth is $150,000.
