With over two decades of experience in the field, Heather has served in a wide range of educational roles, including teacher, principal, adjunct professor, conference speaker, Bible teacher, and school consultant. A graduate of Azusa Pacific University, she holds multiple degrees and credentials, including a Master’s in Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, a Teaching Credential from CSU Chico, and an Administrative Credential from the University of San Diego.
Heather has worked at respected institutions such as Horizon Prep and Point Loma Nazarene University, shaping young minds and guiding fellow educators. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Thrive Learning Center, a non-profit community organization that partners with homeschooling families in North County San Diego. Thrive provides support in the form of academic programs, supervised lunches, playtime, transportation to local vendors, and enrichment activities, creating a nurturing environment for students and parents alike. She continues to live out her faith and passion for education, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many families.
Heather Dalton is Raising Three Daughters Today
Heather Dalton has been married to Todd Dalton since 2012. Together they are raising three beautiful daughters, Gracie, Harper, and Daphne, who are aged 8, 6, and 4, respectively. Deeply committed to her family, she homeschools her girls and has woven her passion for education into her own home. Though years have passed since Melissa’s death, she continues to carry her sister in her heart every day. She has shared that she still “misses doing life” with Melissa. She said that those everyday moments of laughter, support, and sisterhood can never be replaced. Family remains her anchor. She remains close to her sister, Morgan Henning, cherishes time with her nieces and nephews, and supports her mother, Janette Henning.
