Daniel Kaluuya is headed to Australia for his next feature. Principal photography for the sci-fi thriller movie ‘Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel’ will take place in Melbourne, Australia, starting in March this year. Michael Shanks is the writer and director of the A24-backed movie. Kaluuya is the only revealed cast member yet.

The story follows middle-aged Ben (Kaluuya), who wakes up in a strange hotel room, a bag over his head, and his hands bound. After biting through the bag to breathe and freeing himself, he finds neither the door nor the window will open. What seems to be a hotel is but a prison. The next day, Ben smashes a hole in the wall and discovers another identical room. Inside is another version of Ben, reliving yesterday’s events. When Ben breaks through to him, he realizes the copy can’t see him. Each passing day reveals a new Ben, each repeating the cycle, until Ben recognizes a strange opportunity: cooperation across timelines. Though unable to communicate, his actions influence the next Ben, creating teamwork across days. Together, they batter doors, explore looping lobbies, and finally build a human ladder of selves toward a high trapdoor. With fifteen Bens, escape seems possible- unless the hotel has more sinister surprises waiting above.
Daniel Kaluuya has provided audiences with noteworthy performances across various genres.
