Hyoni Song has admittedly always dreamed about creating or living in an idyllic world where one’s appearance doesn’t hold any value; instead, who they are on the inside is all that matters. Therefore, with Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind: Italy’ literally bringing her childhood vision to life in the form of a reality dating series, she knew she had to apply, as it could be her best shot to find true love. That’s how she came across Alessandro Bianchin, unaware they would turn everything upside down for one another by never shying away from affection, care, efforts, respect, as well as trust.
Hyoni and Alessandro’s Foundation is Built on Real Understanding
From the moment we first came across 34-year-old Hyoni on our screens, she made it clear that she is originally from South Korea but has proudly been based out of Italy for the past 14 years. So, of course, she didn’t hesitate to specify the same to fellow 34-year-old Alessandor when they met in the pods, especially after he asked about her accent since he could identify a tonal difference. Their ensuing conversation did seem rather surface, but it left them both intrigued in different ways – while she loved his enthusiasm, he couldn’t figure out if she was excited with him or not.
Alessandro had no idea that Hyoni was actually over the moon happy to talk to him until their second date, where they then almost immediately jumped to discuss physical intimacy and family. The way they conversed elucidated how they were open to not only the experiment but also one another, which gave way for them to open up about their core beliefs and future expectations too. The fact that he was the one to subsequently bring up the possibility of them ultimately splitting time between Italy and Korea so as to be closer to her family honestly melted her heart even further. That’s because he put himself in her shoes to understand her standing 5,000 miles away from loved ones without her having to explain, so she obviously said yes when he got down on one knee.
Hyoni and Alessandro Still Seem to be Deep in Love
Hyoni and Alessandro’s physical chemistry was truly off the charts when they finally came face to face following the proposal, solidifying their romantic emotions as well as sentiments even deeper. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it to the romantic getaway in Morocco for some reason and were thus not filmed exploring getting to know one another in person, but they maintained their bond. That much seemingly became evident once everyone returned to the real world, only for it to enable them to face all the challenges of life and love, including outside noise as well as cultural differences. Hence, from what we can tell based on their respective online footprints and seemingly aligned lifestyles as of writing, it appears as if Hyoni and Alessandro are still together.
Hyoni and Alessandro Are Both Very Successful in Their Respective Professional Fields
It was around 2010 when Hyoni relocated from Seoul, South Korea, to Milan, Italy, to build a better life for herself, shortly after which she enrolled at Brera Academy for a Bachelor’s in Painting. She graduated in 2015, yet chose to continue her studies at the same University until she had earned a Master’s in Art Therapy in 2018 – she graduated summa cum laude, meaning with the highest distinction. During this period, though, she had also kickstarted her career, serving as an Art Curator, Art Teacher, Art Therapist, Group Exhibition Contributor, and Interpreter/Translator at several organizations. In fact, it was only in 2019 that she moved on from part-time or freelance work by landing a spot at La Giocomotiva as a Kindergarten Teacher (November 2019-May 2022).
Hyoni then joined Colored Dot as a Kindergarten Teacher (June 2022-September 2024), just to eventually spread her wings by deciding to start dabbling in the world of business. She first garnered experience as a Business Development Specialist at Heloucha (September 2024-June 2025) and as a Project Manager at HSAD GIIR Germany GmbH (October 2024-January 2025) before launching her own endeavor. Since her heritage is extremely important to her and she is passionate about the world of beauty, makeup, as well as skincare, she co-founded a Korean beauty brand called HYONINE in July 2025. She proudly runs this company to this day, all the while also doing her best to embrace her love for travel whenever possible.
Coming to Alessandro, the Milan, Italy, resident is a man of many hats, considering he is a professional actor, content creator, model, personal trainer, and rising public figure. The Sports Science degree holder is currently signed under the banner of Boom Models Agency, but he also independently dabbles in serving as a trainer and creating content to build his brand on social media. As of writing, most of his posts focus on his travels, his passion for fashion as well as reading, and the world of modern dating/relationships, which inadvertently indicates he is in a happy romantic one too. We should mention that he visited Morocco in May 2022, Vietnam in December 2023, Indonesia in August 2024, Laos and Cambodia in December 2024-January 2025, and China in August 2025.
