Isaiah is the Name Used for Monica White’s Son in the Movie
In the film, Isaiah is portrayed as a supportive presence in his mother’s life. Before leaving for military training, he encourages her to put herself out there and take on new opportunities. When Monica tells him she has joined an online dating app, he advises her to be cautious, reminding her that she would be meeting strangers. Upon learning that she has been speaking with a man named Anthony Robinson, Isaiah appears genuinely happy for her. Later, when he returns to visit, he suggests that Robinson be invited to Monica’s birthday party so he can meet him in person. At the celebration, Isaiah shares a brief interaction with Robinson but offers no particular reaction. After that scene, the character is not shown again in the film.
In September 2022, the real Monica White spoke publicly about her experience and alleged that she had dated Robinson. She shared that she had introduced him to her adult son, though she chose not to reveal her son’s name. Monica also alleged that during her birthday party, Robinson behaved oddly and made suggestive remarks toward her son and some of the other young people present. She further claimed that she confronted Robinson afterward and asked whether he was bisexual, to which he allegedly admitted he was. While the film incorporates elements of this account with slight changes, it remains true that Monica had an adult son at the time she was involved with Robinson and had introduced him to the man who was later revealed to be a serial killer.
