Jada Vidal: Where is the Hell’s Kitchen Star Now?

From the moment Jada Vidal was featured on season 24 of Fox’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen,’ she made it evident that she was one of the most formidable competitors. Her competitive spirit instantly set her apart from the other contestants. She was the eighth chef to be called to the stage among the 20 hand-selected contestants, each representing their home state. Among them, Jada represented her state of Florida. Week after week, she showed that she was more than just technically skilled through her calm composure in the kitchen and her ability to take charge under pressure. Her natural leadership repeatedly caught the attention of Gordon Ramsay. Yet, her journey wasn’t without turbulence because her close bond with Anaiya Lane often made her a topic of discussion among her team members.

Jada Vidal Showcased Her Leadership Qualities From the Beginning

From episode 1, Jada Vidal’s story unfolded with quiet confidence and determination. During the Signature Dish challenge, she found herself forming a close connection with her fellow contender, Anaiya, to the point where she even considered her a sister. In that same challenge, Jada made a strong impression with her preparation of crispy-skin salmon. The presentation and execution of the dish further helped her earn praise from Gordon Ramsay, earning her a perfect five points. As the contest progressed, Jada’s creative scallop dish once again became one of the top four selected ones from her team. During the dinner services, some of her teammates felt that she wasn’t always the loudest voice in the kitchen.

However, Jada tried to handle both wins and losses of the challenges with grace, never letting disappointment overshadow her focus. Notably, she was never nominated for elimination as she always proved her reliability. In episode 6, Gordon sent her to the blue team and asked her to take charge as a leader, noting that the team needed guidance. Although she was heartbroken to be separated from Anaiya, she took on the responsibility of leading the team. Jada’s steady leadership carried her all the way to episode 12, when she conquered the first challenge and secured the second black jacket. By the following episode, she didn’t back away from nominating Anaiya for elimination because of her mistakes. Eventually, Jada continued to impress Gordon with her leadership skills, which helped her secure a position among the final three contestants.

Jada Has Carved an Impressive Career as an Entrepreneur and Chef de Cuisine

Jada’s culinary journey began taking shape long before she became a professional chef. Her passion eventually led her to pursue an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training at Keiser University. She ultimately graduated from the university in March 2021. Even before attaining the degree, Jada was already gaining experience in the real world. Her professional trajectory began in October 2016, when she entered the industry as a Special Events Chef at Voodoo Chef Catering Company, where she remained until November 2017. Just a month later, Jada transitioned into a Line Cook role at Elevage. There, she continued to redefine her skills until December 2018.

From August 2019 to April 2020, Jada’s growth was recognized with the title of Lead Line Cook at First Watch. She then moved on to serve in the same position at Haven Tampa until August 2021. While working there, her entrepreneurial spirit took flight in July 2021, as she launched Jada Vidal LLC. It is a private chef venture specializing in pop-up concepts throughout Tampa, Florida, offering fine dining experiences in the comfort of one’s own home. As of writing, she continues to work on the venture. However, her momentum hasn’t stopped there, as in April 2022, Jada joined the Noble Rice restaurant as a Sous Chef, where it didn’t take long for the owner to recognize her talent.

In July 2025, Jada proudly announced her role in opening one of Noble Rice’s sister restaurants — Kinjo. The restaurant, which finally opened in August 2025, offers Italian-Japanese fusion dishes. She has been working as the Chef de Cuisine at the spot. Over the years, Jada has also expanded her presence on television with appearances on ‘Beachside Brawl,’ ‘Chopped,’ and ‘Guy’s Grocery Games.’ In March 2025, during an interview with Marlon Gordon, she revealed that she developed a passion for cooking at a very young age. Furthermore, Jada has gradually built a strong digital presence, with over 8K followers on Instagram, while continuing to evolve as a chef and culinary leader.

Jada Vidal’s Engagement Marked a New Chapter of Love and Partnership

Beyond the demands of her fast-paced culinary career, Jada has primarily chosen to keep her personal life private. However, she does provide occasional glimpses to her followers on Instagram. She truly possesses a creative spirit. Hence, in her downtime, Jada finds comfort in painting, using brushstrokes on canvas as a way to express herself. Music is another constant presence in her life. Over the years, that has taken her to new live concerts, where she soaks in the lively energy alongside other fans. She is also the type of person who shows her support for the local artists. In her free time, Jada enjoys her escapades to the beaches, soaking her feet in the crashing waves.

Jada also finds solace in baking and gardening, believing that the greenery and creation bring balance to her life. Her friends also remain a constant source of inspiration for her as she often spends time exploring fine dining spaces. Besides this, the most significant part of Jada’s life is her soulmate and fellow chef, Adam Finzel. In July 2025, the couple reached a beautiful personal milestone when he finally popped the question, sitting down on one knee against the stunning backdrop of Quepos, Costa Rica. After their engagement, they have entirely focused on traveling together, like exploring the bustling streets of New York and going on romantic dates, creating memories that are just as meaningful as Jada’s achievements in the kitchen.
