The 27th edition of NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ a music competition series, acquainted us with a group of talented aspiring singers who showcased their vocal talents in order to stay in the competition and cement their place in the show’s history. By the end of ‘The Voice 27,’ five of the best singers remained in the competition in the final round, one of them being Jadyn Cree. Not only was she trying to honor his father’s legacy, but she also attempted to surpass it with the help of her own unique style. In the final, she was competing against some other talented participants, including Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Jaelen Johnston, Adam David, and RENZO.

Jadyn Cree Became a Strong Contender to Win the Competition

In ‘The Voice 25,’ Jadyn Cree watched her father, Bryan Olesen, perform on the show as part of John Legend’s team and compete against some of the most talented vocal artists. He finished in third place after a competitive season. Jadyn’s obsession with music was instilled in her through her father. Inspired by him, she pursued a career in the music industry and auditioned for ‘The Voice 27.’ Ever since her selection, Bryan stood in the audience to cheer on Jadyn, who was a part of Team Michael Bublé. Talking about seeing her father in the audience, she said, “I grew up watching my dad perform on stage and stuff and just seeing him be goofy and himself on stage. That kind of just helped me be fine with being goofy and silly on stage. It was definitely nice seeing him there.”

She also revealed that her father was sitting directly in front of her, and since he was already crying, she couldn’t sing to him “because I can’t just watch my dad cry while I do this song.” Throughout the season, Jadyn was coached by Michael Bublé and gave some captivating performances, showing off her vocal range and skills. Although she started off her campaign with an incredible audition, she was not seen as one of the finalists until the Playoffs. She took everyone by surprise when she delivered a standout cover performance of “99 Red Balloons.” Not only did it solidify her place in the Top Five, but it also made her one of the favorites among the other finalists.

Jadyn Cree is Looking Forward to Having a Successful Musical Career With Her Family’s Support

Hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, Jadyn attended Lincoln Christian High School and worked towards supporting her musical career by serving as a Crewmember at Ailes Detasseling from 2013 to 2019. A couple of years later, she landed a job at Window Option Specialists, where she has been employed as a Sales Assistant. Besides her career, Jadyn also prioritizes her loved ones, who have always encouraged her to follow her dreams and supported her to help achieve them as well.

Her constant cheerleaders include her parents, Bryan and Jen, and her two brothers, Liam and Myles Olesen. They regularly take time out from their respective schedules and spend some quality time with one another by going on trips or celebrating different festivals and events. She is also a compassionate animal lover who talked about his passion for cats in detail, saying, “I feel like with dogs, it’s like a dog’s always gonna be super excited to see you and love you no matter what.”

She elaborated, “When it’s a cat, you have to earn their trust and love. So it’s more special to me that they wanna be around me and love me so much. I miss them a lot. I work full-time, so it’s really difficult for me to even have a dog because then I’d have to go let it out. My cat can just take care of itself.” Whenever Jadyn leaves her home for months on end, she ensures that she invites people over to her house to take care of her cats instead of placing them somewhere they are not used to. As of April 2025, Jadyn has been spending time in the studio, working on some new songs. Working on leaving a mark in the industry, she remains optimistic and excited about what the future holds.
