Jessi and Jordan: Is the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Couple Still Together?

The romantic relationships of the cast members on Hulu’s ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ have consistently been a key element of the show, driving much of its emotional weight and drama. Viewers have been given a glimpse into the intimate details of their personal lives, often revealing more than expected. In the second season, Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura took center stage. Although their relationship appeared strong and harmonious for the majority of the season, a surprising revelation toward the finale disrupted that image and cast doubt and stirred tension.

Jessi and Jordan’s Tried a Ninety Day Separation From Each Other

Jessi first crossed paths with Jordan while she was separated from her former husband, Zach. The connection between them was immediate and was grounded in their shared progressive outlook and openness toward building a fresh start. By the end of 2019, they made their relationship official and publicly praised one another for the emotional support they provided during life’s transitions. In July 2020, they discovered they were expecting their first child, and just two months later, Jordan proposed. Jessi happily accepted. Their son, Jagger Zayn Ngatikaura, was born on April 20, 2021, and the joys of parenthood were unbridled for them.

A few months later, on October 8, the couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They began their new life together in Utah and formed a blended family that included Jordan’s daughter, Peyton, from a previous relationship. In January 2023, their family grew again with the arrival of their daughter, Jovi James Ngatikaura. Throughout the second season, Jessi and Jordan were viewed as a fun-loving and emotionally open couple. Jessi often spoke about how refreshing it was to be with someone who was neither possessive nor controlling.

However, things took a dramatic turn in the season finale when ‘Vanderpump Villa’ star Marciano Brunette sat down with Layla Taylor and claimed that he had an affair with Jessi. He alleged that during a trip to Italy in August 2024, they kissed and spent the night together, and that their connection continued beyond that. In season 3, Jessi confirmed that she had an emotional affair but claimed it was nothing more. She confessed that the two of them had been facing difficulty and were trying out a nine-day separation at the time, as had been advised by their therapist. They faced many challenges. Jessi opened up about feeling devalued in the marriage. Jordan, on the other hand, was deeply hurt over the cheating scandal, and the two considered whether their paths were better off away from each other.

Jessi and Jordan Are Back Together For Good

Since the release of the show, Jessi has opened up about the state of her marriage and how she and Jordan have been rebuilding after their separation. She shared that they’ve been in therapy, fully aware that their relationship would be heavily scrutinized once the affair became public. She admitted, “This coming out publicly was a weird blessing in disguise. Obviously, it was humiliating and embarrassing, but it actually gave us room to face it and get help. It forced us to go to therapy and make changes. As of right now, it looks like we’re on an upward hill.” Jessi noted that while the issues won’t resolve overnight, they are committed to rebuilding trust.

She has set firm boundaries, and Jordan is working to respect them. She also clarified that although she briefly continued speaking with Marciano after the scandal, hoping to understand more about Demi Engemann’s involvement, they are no longer in contact and called it the healthiest choice for her marriage. Jordan expressed his gratitude for his wife by saying, “This year pushed me harder than anything I have ever been through in my entire life. Being this vulnerable is terrifying, but I’m working on myself and on healing together with Jessi, showing up better one day at a time.” In recent months, the couple has focused on family time, taking a Halloween trip to Disneyland and attending a Dodgers game in September 2025. For a fun date, they also went to UFC match together. Their children remain their priority, and they are working to create stability at home while continuing to heal together.

Jessi and Jordan Have Created a Business Empire Together

Together, Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura have built a successful presence in both reality television and digital content creation. The former is the founder of JZ Styles, a thriving brand that includes a hair extension company, salon, and professional academy. She’s poured her energy into growing the business, which has already gained major traction in the beauty industry. Jordan, on the other hand, has transitioned from his earlier roles, including manager at RISE Energy and affiliations with Nasun solar panels and the Naughty Kitchen blog, into a full-fledged entertainment personality.

Jordan has become a well-known face in the digital space, especially on social media, as an ambassador for Bucked Up, a fitness supplement company, and a key figure in the DadTok community (an unofficial spinoff of the popular MomTok network). While their relationship has faced challenges, professionally, both Jessi and Jordan have established strong individual identities and have continued to connect with their audiences through authenticity and an open window into their family life.
