Jessica Servais and Jordan Kendhammer: Where Are Todd Kendhammer’s Kids Now?

In September 2016, Jessica Servais and Jordan Kendhammer were devastated to learn that their mother, Barbara Kendhammer, had died in what initially appeared to be an accident. They accepted the account their father, Todd Kendhammer, shared regarding what had happened. In December 2016, when Todd was arrested, and authorities announced that Barbara’s death was being treated as a homicide, both Jessica and Jordan continued to stand by their father throughout the investigation and trial. In CBS’s ’48 Hours: Mystery on County Road M,’ the siblings spoke openly about the emotional toll of the case, their loyalty to their father, and their decision to support him as he continues to pursue legal relief.

Jessica Servais and Jordan Kendhammer Continue to Believe Their Father is Innocent

Jessica and Jordan Kendhammer remembered growing up in a warm, stable home in West Salem, Wisconsin. They described their parents, Barbara and Todd Kendhammer, as a close and loving couple, saying they rarely witnessed arguments or any signs of conflict or violence in their household. Both parents worked hard to provide a comfortable life for their children. As Jessica and Jordan grew older, Barbara and Todd began enjoying a more relaxed and fulfilling phase of life together. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 2016. That September, Jessica and Jordan had returned home, as the family was preparing to spend time together and take a trip they had been looking forward to.

Jordan shared that on September 16, 2016, his father drove his mother to her workplace from their home, as he often did when he had the day off. Within hours, the siblings were shocked to learn that their mother had reportedly been involved in a serious accident and they rushed to the hospital. Barbara passed away the following day, leaving both Jessica and Jordan devastated by the sudden loss. They said that their father appeared completely grief-stricken and was struggling to cope and openly mourning his wife, which they witnessed firsthand. When Todd was arrested in December 2016 in connection with Barbara’s death, the siblings found it extremely difficult to comprehend or accept the charges against him.

Throughout the investigation and trial, Jessica and Jordan have consistently said they believe in their father’s innocence and have stood firmly by his side. They maintained that the man they knew was loving, gentle, and incapable of harming anyone. At Todd Kendhammer’s sentencing hearing, Jessica spoke on his behalf, describing him as a kind and devoted father who had always prioritized his family. Following his conviction, both siblings remained actively involved by reaching out to other attorneys and supporting him through the appeals process. Even today, despite Todd’s incarceration, they continue to advocate for him and say they have not given up hope.
