Jesus Estrada is Running a Fashion Label Alongside His Twin Brother Today
Born in Mazatlan, Mexico, Jesus Estrada always knew he was destined to work in fashion. Growing up in San Diego, California, he was surrounded by inspiration. His mother was a model, and his twin brother, Antonio, also shared his passion for the fashion industry. After completing his early education, Jesus studied animation at the California Institute of Arts & Technology in San Diego. Then, he enrolled at Fashion Careers College, where he built his skills from the ground up, eventually specializing in luxury evening gowns. By the time he graduated in 2008, he was already participating in fashion shows across California, steadily growing his name in the industry. His appearance on ‘Project Runway’ season 7 marked a pivotal moment in his career, which exposed him to a national audience and opened doors to new opportunities.
Though he didn’t win that season, the experience became a launching pad for what would become a thriving design career. Together with Antonio, he launched their joint fashion label, Estrada Twins, in 2012. Jesus is serving as its Creative Director for the label. The brothers achieved a major milestone in November 2024 when they opened their flagship store in New York City. Since then, they’ve consistently released collections celebrated for their dramatic silhouettes, fine details, and an exclusive men’s line. In 2024, Jesus showcased his designs at New York Fashion Week as well and gained critical acclaim. He’s also been invited to speak at design schools, hosted benefit fashion shows, and is a regular face at high-profile events. Heidi Klum, a longtime supporter and close friend, even invited him to her iconic Halloween party. Jesus has proven that with vision and resilience, dreams can transform into reality.
