While the world of online dating has made it easy to fall in love with people you have never met, what happens when it takes a step further to involve an international internet marriage? That’s precisely what Annalyn “Anna” Fox and Jovon Fox from TLC’s ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ explore in season 8, considering they tied the knot without ever even meeting in person. After all, it follows their journey as they eventually come face to face for the first time, only to encounter a complex web of challenges spanning cultural, emotional, financial, and social differences.
Jovon and Annalyn Fox Have Been Together For Over Six Years
Philippines native Annalyn “Anna” Pestano first met Alabama resident Jovon through the dating service Filipino Cupid around 2019, and they soon fell deeply in love. The duo had found themselves connecting over the tiny details of their lives, which led them to discuss their beliefs, core values, and future expectations regarding partnership and family. They thus found themselves discussing marriage not long after, and as one thing led to another, they tied the knot in an approved, intimate virtual ceremony during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022.
However, it wasn’t until 2025 that Annalyn and Jovon first met in person, when the latter traveled nearly 10,000 miles to meet the woman he believes to be the true love of his life. Little did either of them know that their strong personalities and habit of living relatively independently would clash to such an extent that they would question whether getting married was the right choice. The fact that they had different perspectives on how to handle money as well as traditional gender roles didn’t help either, making it clear that they are on different pages despite being the same age. However, through compromises, genuine efforts, open communication, understanding, and mutual respect, it appears that the 30-year-olds have been able to maintain a strong marriage in their unique relationship.
Annalyn Fox is a Woman of Many Hats, While Jovon Leads a Private Life
While Annalyn prefers to keep the core details of her background, family, and personal experiences out of the limelight, she does share snapshots of her daily life on social media. That’s more than her husband Jovon, who has carefully chosen to keep all his social media accounts private as of writing so as to avoid needless remarks, prying eyes, and rumored speculations. Nevertheless, from the way the duo still follow one another on their respective accounts as well as how often the Alabama native comments on her posts, it’s evident they are still happily together. From what we can tell, he had mailed her a beautiful emerald engagement ring in early 2022 after popping the question, and they got married at around 7 pm (MST) on February 15. However, their Report of Marriage was only approved by the consulates in September 2022.
Since then, Annalyn and Jovon have been focusing on building a new life for themselves, all the while juggling their respective careers, passions, and connections with other loved ones. The former, in particular, is an undeniable force of nature in the way she balances her roles as a daughter, sister, wife, friend, and godmother to a young boy, amidst all the other responsibilities in her life. The dance and film enthusiast actually completed a Real Estate Virtual Assistant Course in 2021, and she is a proud graduate of the St. Martin School of Advanced Technology and Caregiver.
Therefore, today, Annalyn appears to reside in Dasmariñas in Cavite, Philippines, where she proudly serves as a caregiver/healthcare professional to those in need. The 30-year-old is also an animal lover, to the extent that she seemingly has at least three dogs – Onyx, Maki, and Phoebe – as well as at least three cats – Lily, Mito, and Toby – as of writing. She sadly lost one of her dogs, Shane, in November 2023. We should also mention that Annalyn is passionate about traveling, having recently explored the beauty of her homeland while also engaging in ATV and boat rides.
