Karina Sabol: Where is the Farmer Wants a Wife Star Now?

As a reality dating series that underscores not only the simple pleasures of rural living but also the significance of emotional connections, Fox’s ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ is unlike any other. It actually revolves around four handsome, hunky farmers as they hope to find their one true everlasting love from a group of potential suitors from all walks of life across the nation. Amongst these potential suitors in season 3 was the charming Karina Sabol, whose sheer beauty and wit had former athlete turned Hay-Cattle family farmer Jay Woods enamored by her.

Karina Sabol Was Her Authentic Self at Every Step of the Way

From the moment Karina Sabol first came across our screens, it was evident that although she is not entirely extroverted, she is bubbly, kind, and caring. Therefore, Jay didn’t hesitate to ask her to join him back at his farm in Florence, Alabama, as one of the chosen 5, where they got to know one another on a deeper level. It was in episode 5 that they had their one-on-one date together, which is where they really learned how their past as athletes has shaped them into who they are. After all, while she is a former All-American gymnast, he was a football star.

Honestly, Karina and Jay seemed like two peas in a pod as time passed by, but he was worried about how their future might look like if they remained together. That’s because he eventually wanted his partner to move for him, considering his work, but she knew that it would be hard for her if she didn’t have his family’s support. She is admittedly not one who can just join clubs and make friends easily. But alas, even though his parents conceded that they wouldn’t mind one day calling her their daughter if things went well. Jay simply couldn’t get Grace Clark out of his mind. So, although she was heartbroken to have not been chosen by him, she walked away with her head held high since she knew she was always true to herself.

Karina Sabol Stepped Away From Being a Performing Gymnast On Her Own Terms

Karina was admittedly just 5 years old when she was first introduced to the world of gymnastics thanks to her older sisters, unaware that she would soon fall in love with it. Thus, at the age of 6, she enrolled at Madtown Twisters in Madison to get proper training, resulting in her gradually evolving into a performing athlete. Whether it be club teams or her school team, she later joined them all because she knew from an early age that she wanted to have a career in it for as long as possible. Unfortunately, things changed drastically for Karina during her sophomore year in high school, as one misstep on the uneven bars caused her to fall to the ground with little protection around. She tried to break her fall with a handstand of sorts, but it resulted in her dislocating both of her elbows and tearing some tendons and ligaments.

If Karina hadn’t done so, though, she said she risked injuring her head, her neck, her spine, and other crucial areas that could have left her with long-term effects, so she genuinely considered herself lucky. While many would have understandably become too scared to return to the mats, Karina was the exact opposite. Even when both her arms were in braces, all she could think of was how and when she could begin practicing and competing again because she genuinely missed it. She actually managed to do so by the time she was a junior, and continued down this path right until she turned 20. It was during her last year in college in 2022 that she decided to step away from gymnastics as an active athlete, as she felt as if her body could no longer keep up.

Karina Sabol Has Since Established a Career For Herself in the Corporate World

After graduating from high school in 2019, Karina enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to pursue a Bachelor’s in Business Administration while continuing her Gymnastics Career. However, despite her having earned several laurels over the years, her plans changed when she decided to combine her credits to graduate a year early as well as leave Gymnastics behind. The All-American athlete graduated in 2022, by which point she had already begun establishing her second career in the corporate world at Gunpowder Incorporated, an advertising agency and public relations firm that promotes active lifestyle brands as well as outdoor activities. Karina knew early on that it was a perfect fit for her. Hence, the former Peer Mentor, Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness and Assistant Program Director at GymHawks Gymnastics Club joined the brand in December 2021 as a Business Coordinator.

From there, Karina gradually climbed up the ladder to evolve into the Operations Manager in September 2023 before quickly being promoted to New Business Operations Manager in October 2024. As if that’s not enough, despite having a full-time career that she is incredibly proud of, Karina also continues to be a part of the Gymnastics community, but this time as a coach. She holds a part-time coach position for the teams of both a local club called Lake City Twisters Gymnastics and the Mount Horeb High School. “Having done it… I’m able to bring those kids back to the reality of, ‘This is really hard. And, what you’re doing, not many people can do,'” she recently revealed. “Taking the little wins and kind of changing their mindsets to be better people in general — that’s my favorite part of coaching.”

Karina Sabol is a Family-Oriented Outdoor Enthusiast Through and Through

Since Karina grew up on her family’s Cross Plains horse farm in Middleton, Wisconsin, she developed a passion for all things outdoors at a relatively early age. Therefore, today, whenever she is not working, she is admittedly either cozying up with a good book in hand, spending time with loved ones, or taking up different outdoor activities. Whether it be biking, going to the farmer’s market, hiking, playing pickleball, or riding horses, the 24-year-old Verona, Wisconsin, resident does it all.

We should also mention that family is evidently the most important part of Karina’s life, especially as she is incredibly close to not just her parents and five siblings but also all her nieces and nephews. In other words, while they obviously all get together for the celebration of birthdays and the holidays, they are even there for one another on a day-to-day basis, no matter what. We should mention that Karina is also a travel enthusiast, as evidenced by her visits to Texas, New York, Colorado, Alaska, and Ireland in the past few years alone.
