Having gone storm chasing with him a couple of times before, she didn’t hesitate when he suggested doing it again on May 22, 2011, in their hometown. Little did they know how that decision would mark one of the most unforgettable days of their lives.

That day, Kaylee had her phone in hand, ready to document what she thought would be a thrilling adventure. She had no idea that she was about to witness one of the most devastating tornadoes in the country’s history.
