In CBS’ ‘Survivor 48,’ we get acquainted with a new bunch of contestants, who came from different walks of life but shared a single goal — survive on the remote island and be the last person standing. Throughout the competition, several participants impressed, but only a few made it to the final round. One of them was Kyle Fraser, whose determination and ability to complete several physical challenges that came his way booked him a place in the final.
Kyle Fraser is an Attorney Based in New York City
Kyle Fraser worked hard to achieve his dreams of becoming an attorney. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College in 2016, he became a High School English Instructor at Christ School. A couple of years later, he pursued law at the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a part of the Juvenile Justice Clinic. On the side, he worked as a Summer Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LP. From August 2023 to August 2024, he also served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Columbus, Ohio. Residing in New York City, New York, he is currently employed at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello PC as an Associate.
Kyle Fraser is a Devoted Husband and a Doting Parent to His Dogs
Hailing from Roanoke, Virginia, Kyle Fraser describes his older brother as the constant pillar of support in his life, dedicating his success to him. His parents have also played an important part in helping him achieve his goals. Besides them, he shares a close and loving bond with his wife, Maggie Turner. Together since 2019, the couple has gone through the ups and downs of life. In early April 2023, they took the next step in their relationship as Kyle popped the question near the Manhattan Bridge on a rainy day. Almost one and a half years after the engagement, Kyle and Maggie tied the knot on September 14, 2024, surrounded by their friends and families.
The two are also parents to two adorable furry dogs, SamDog (“Sammie”) and Kangaroo, whom they also call “Roo.” They celebrated Sammie’s 12th birthday in February 2025. Kyle has mentioned a few fun facts about her — she has lived in six states, she has had more than 38 roommates, and “She hates possums, raccoons, bears, and any other animal that threatens her dominion over trash.” It was in August 2023 that Kyle welcomed Kangaroo into his family, saying, “Introducing Kangaroo (“Roo”)!! 🐾 Roo Bear is chonky and spunky and Sammie has accepted her role as a big sister with grace and humility.”
Being avid travelers and adventurers, Kyle and Maggie have embarked on various trips and explored new places, including Europe. Apart from traveling and spending time with his dogs and family, the attorney also loves working out at the gym and tending to his house plants in his Brooklyn, New York, house that he shares with his wife and dogs. After competing in ‘Survivor 48,’ he seems to have a new outlook on life and is excited to see what the future holds for him.
