Liam Hemsworth was last seen as Geralt of Rivia, a role passed on to him from Henry Cavill in Season 4 of Netflix’s ‘The Witcher.’ Before this, he starred in the Netflix romance ‘Lonely Planet,’ opposite Laura Dern, the action thriller ‘Land of Bad,’ co-starring Russell Crowe and Luke Hemsworth, and Crowe’s crime thriller ‘Poker Face.’ Hemsworth will return as Geralt in Season 5 of ‘The Witcher,’ which will premiere this year. We will also see him alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Prime Video movie ‘The Kellys.’ The story follows Jack Kelly, a disgraced NYC cop whose wife, Molly, is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory building, forcing him to join forces with the people he fears most to save her: his family. Brad Peyton is the director, and the film is in production.

Mike Pecci will make his feature directorial debut with ‘They Like The Dark.’ He has previously made many short films, including horror shorts like ‘Metanoia’ and ‘Come Home,’ and has worked on numerous music videos for singer Bea Miller.

New York served as the base for the filming of ‘The Exorcism,’ starring Russell Crowe, ‘1408,’ William Friedkin’s ‘The Exorcist,’ and ‘A Quiet Place Part II.’ Popular horror flicks shot in New Jersey are ‘Insidious: The Red Door,’ M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ ‘I Saw the TV Glow,’ and ‘Smile.’
