A spin-off of ‘Love Is Blind’ created by Chris Coelen, Netflix’s ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ is a British reality dating show that revolves around single and eligible men and women, who are in search of the one. In the second season, a group of UK and Ireland-based singles embark on a journey to find a true connection that would last a lifetime. All of them enter the pods, where they get a chance to talk to other singles but not see them or meet them face-to-face.
After choosing their respective partners and getting engaged to them without seeing them, they finally meet face-to-face and spend the next few weeks together, getting to know each other. As their wedding approaches, they must decide if they want to be tied in holy matrimony or if they are better off apart. Hosted by real-life couple Emma and Matt Willis, the social experiment is not only made entertaining because of the drama that unfolds between the couples, but also because of the spectacular locations of their stays and dates.
Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 Filming Locations
The second season of ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ was reportedly filmed in Sweden and England, especially in Stockholm and Brighton and Hove. From what we can tell, the shooting for season 2 of the dating series took place for several weeks, seemingly in the spring of 2025. During the filming process, several locations across England were utilized for providing different backdrops.
Stockholm, Sweden
Following the pattern of the debut season of ‘Love Is Blind: UK,’ the sophomore round was also taped in the capital of Sweden — Stockholm. The pod scenes involving all the contestants in the initial stage of the season were supposedly taped entirely in a studio located in Stockholm. Besides the interiors, a few exterior and establishing shots were also likely shot across the city. Thus, it is likely that you may spot a few landmarks in the backdrop, such as the Royal Dramatic Theatre, the Drottningholm Palace, Stortorget, and the Vasa Museum. The Swedish spin-off of ‘Love Is Blind’ also makes the most of Stockholm’s locales. Apart from that, the capital also features in other reality shows, such as ‘Master of Photography,’ ‘Stockholmspolisen,’ ‘The Amazing Race,’ ‘The Villbergs Chronicles,’ and ‘Persia’s Got Talent.’
Brighton and Hove, England
As per reports, the production team of ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ season 2 also set up camp in Brighton and Hove, which is situated in East Sussex. Shooting for several pivotal sequences, indoors as well as outdoors, took place in the seaside resort of Brighton. For filming purposes, a beach in the area was also turned into a film set, where a few key portions were recorded. Besides the dating show, the city has hosted the production of various projects, including ‘The Jury: Murder Trial,’ ‘How Clean Is Your House?,’ ‘Location, Location, Location,’ and ‘Beat the Burglar.’
