Hulu’s ‘Are You My First?’ offers contestants the opportunity to discover a partner they can truly connect with on a deeper level. Each participant has never experienced physical intimacy, and the show explores their journey in finding someone with whom they feel ready to share that milestone. In its first season, Madi Kolodgie and Noah Jenson seemed to form the connection they were both searching for. However, their path was not without challenges. As difficulties began to surface, the couple was faced with the decision of whether to work through their struggles together or go their separate ways.
Madi and Noah Had Each Other’s Undivided Attention Until Problems Started
Madi Kolodgie shared that she had always struggled with trusting people, which was one of the main reasons she had never been intimate with anyone. She wanted to wait until she found the right person, someone she could truly connect with. On the very first day of the season, when she met Noah Jenson, she felt she had finally found “the one.” She quickly opened up to him about her feelings and the potential she saw between them, and Noah expressed the same. He made her feel special, gave her his undivided attention, and took the time to reassure her, which only strengthened her belief that nothing could come between them. However, things shifted when new contestants Brooklyn Benson and Farha Khalidi joined the show.
Both were given the opportunity to take two boys on a date, and Farha chose Noah, along with Andrew Marino and Brooklyn. While Noah was polite, he did not connect with Farha and was upfront about not being comfortable with her profession as an adult entertainer. He told her he could only see her as a friend. Still, Noah felt a natural pull toward Brooklyn, who shared his background in the LDS church. After returning, he immediately sought out Madi to reassure her that their bond was strong, but it became clear he was into Brooklyn. Despite telling Madi she was his top choice, he also admitted he wanted to explore his connection with the new contestant.
Madi and Noah Broke Up Because of His Interest in Someone Else
Madi’s journey with Noah did not end the way many viewers had hoped. He ended things between them and told her to explore other connections as well. She was left feeling hurt and disappointed after feeling that Noah had been dishonest with her. This created a rift between them that could not easily be mended. While Noah’s elimination from the show closed that chapter, Madi was presented with another opportunity to explore potential connections with others.
She embraced this second chance wholeheartedly, striking up conversations and making the effort to get to know different contestants. Although some of these moments felt promising, nothing solidified into a deeper connection. Eventually, Madi herself was eliminated before the finale, but she took it in stride. Rather than feeling defeated, she explained that she had no regrets and valued the chance to put herself out there. Even though love didn’t blossom, the experience gave her confidence moving forward. Today, Madi and Noah no longer appear close, and the possibility of rekindling their romance seems very slim.

Madi has continued to make her mark in the corporate world by recently stepping into her role as Senior Marketing Manager at Acceleration Partners in April 2025. This milestone is the culmination of years of professional growth across a range of positions, from administrative assistant roles to sales and marketing responsibilities. Her career path reflects not only her adaptability but also her ability to understand different sides of the business. She guides campaigns that drive impact while mentoring younger professionals who are just starting out.
Noah has carved out his own entrepreneurial journey as the CEO and founder of The Merman Co., a skin and haircare brand inspired by coastal elements and a connection to natural wellness. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Administration, he combines academic training with a passion for innovation and business building. Under his leadership, The Merman Co. has begun establishing itself as a fresh name in the industry.
