Madie Krueger: Where is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Now?

Netflix’s ‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ season 2 is a documentary series revolving around the titular organization throughout its 2024-2025 football season. This original production is actually helmed by Greg Whiteley (‘Last Chance U’ and ‘Cheer’), so it comprises his signature style of a people-centric narrative with a much deeper message. Amongst those to thus feature here is Madeline “Madie” Krueger, a rookie candidate turned squad member despite her young age because of her sheer style, power, as well as grace.

Madie Krueger Has Been Dancing All Her Life

Madie Krueger was reportedly born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, into a very religious yet understanding and unwaveringly supportive household that prioritizes love above all else. Therefore, the moment she showed signs of having an innate passion for dance at the tender age of 2, they happily enrolled her for toddler ballet lessons at the Twin Arts Dance Studio. It was here that she gradually ended up training in multiple styles, including acrobatics, jazz, lyrical, modern, pointe, as well as tap, before joining an actual competition company at age 6.

Madie subsequently got cast in several local dance productions such as Dracula, The Nutcracker, and Swan Lake, which admittedly gave her not only a lot of self-confidence but also exposure. This latter aspect was further propelled by her attendance at different dance conventions alongside her competition team, through which she came across some lifelong friends and mentors. That’s when she began dreaming of pursuing a career as a professional dancer and maybe even one day evolving into a dance instructor with her own studio for beginners and amateurs alike.

It thus comes as no surprise that Madie was a cheerleader for most of her time at First Baptist Christian Academy, all the while successfully juggling her studies and competing at a national level. In fact, from partaking in Starquest 2021 to winning the Dance Masters of America (DMA) Nationals the same year and from being named Teen Miss Dance of Texas in both 2021 as well as 2023 to earning her DMA Class 3 certification, she did it all before she graduated in May 2024. The teenager had taken every masterclass possible and dabbled in Jazz Funk/Musical Theatre until she’d fallen in love with high-energy moves, so the next natural step for her was DCC.

Madie Krueger is Living Her DCC Dreams Today

Although Madie has never been shy about the fact that she wanted to be a part of DCC ever since she first saw ‘Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team’ as a child, she didn’t put all her eggs in one basket when she ultimately chose to audition after graduation. This is because while she was determined to do everything in her power to make the team, she knew she would have more chances if she did fail and enrolled at Texas Woman’s University. She had realized from watching the show that this brand is “more than a dance team, but a group of girls who are leaders within the community,” so she knew she’d only be able to join if she really proved her mettle.

In other words, Madie understood her young age was a disadvantage, which actually did come up several times during training camp as she often got lost in the crowd, but she didn’t falter. Instead, the 18-year-old turned all the critiques she was given into her drive and worked incredibly hard to learn routines, practice, and perform, even at the expense of quality time with loved ones. It all worked out in the end, though, because she not only made the squad but also proved herself to such an extent that she got to partake in a few public appearances as well as tour shows. Hence, of course, it comes as no surprise that she is now gearing up to go through this entire process once again in the hopes of being a part of the upcoming 2025-2026 season team.

Madie Krueger is as Dedicated to Her Studies and Teaching as She is to Dance

While it’s indisputable that being a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and now a reality star keeps Madie incredibly busy, she is careful about not letting it take over her entire life. She ensures that she takes out enough time for her studies because she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in La Porte, Texas. She actually hopes to eventually evolve into a licensed Physical Therapist and give back to DCC by serving as one for the cheerleaders, meaning she wants to keep contributing to the brand for as long as possible, even after she can’t dance for them herself.

Apart from this, Madie is also moving towards fulfilling yet another one of her childhood dreams by serving as a dance instructor at The Young Company, a position she landed in November 2024. Furthermore, she is a rising influencer thanks to her recent entry into the public space, which she is making the most of through brand deals as well as philanthropy for the causes she believes in. These include foster care awareness and cancer awareness, with the latter in particular being very personal to her because she lost her grandmother to the harrowing ailment. It’s also imperative to note that in the past year, Madie has even learned to manage her time better so as to actively be there for her parents, friends, and boyfriend, Bryant Nelson. She shares an adorable chocolate Labrador with him named Kipp and has a dog as well as 2 rescue cats herself.
