Netflix’s ‘Love on the Spectrum’ beautifully captures the nuances of dating and highlights the small, heartfelt moments that make the journey so special. In seasons 3 and 4, Madison Marilla, who had appeared in previous seasons, returned with a renewed enthusiasm for finding love. With her priorities clearly set, she was eager to explore new possibilities. That’s when she met Tyler White, and it felt as though everything she had been hoping for was finally falling into place. Together, they shared meaningful experiences and truly enjoyed each other’s company.
Madison and Tyler Found Common Interests That Nurtured Their Connection
At the start of the season, Madison Marilla reflected on how much she had grown since her first date and expressed excitement about the opportunities ahead. When she was set up on a blind date with a man named Brandon, she arrived eager and well-prepared. However, she quickly noticed that he seemed uncomfortable in public settings. While she was honest in telling him that she liked him, she also acknowledged that she was a highly outgoing person and needed a partner who could match her energy. Recognizing their differences, she gently let him know that she wouldn’t be able to go on a second date but remained optimistic about what the future had in store for her.
On her second blind date, Madison met Tyler White at the Sunken Gardens in Florida and was immediately impressed by his presence and the way he carried himself. Their conversation flowed as they discussed their work and their shared passion for advocacy within the autistic community. They also discovered several common interests, including their love for Christmas, similar taste in music and food, and a deep appreciation for nature. After the date, Madison excitedly told her family that she could see a future with him and eagerly agreed to a second date. This time, they spent a peaceful day at the beach, collecting shells and simply enjoying each other’s company as they talked.
It was a truly heartwarming experience for Madison, and she admitted that she had genuinely started to develop feelings for Tyler. When he asked if he could kiss her, she enthusiastically said yes, overwhelmed with happiness. She later shared that it was the first kiss of her life and that she was grateful it had been with someone as special as Tyler. Excited about their growing connection, she invited him to her home to meet her parents. Her family was just as thrilled for her, easily recognizing how much she liked him. Tyler’s quick wit and ability to make everyone laugh left a lasting impression. The couple’s chemistry was undeniable, as they couldn’t keep their hands off each other, which made it clear that something truly special was beginning to blossom between them.
Happily Engaged, Madison and Tyler Are Planning a Life Together
Madison and Tyler initially remained private about their relationship status, but the truth is that they were going strong and are now stronger than ever as an engaged couple. The former actually relocated to Plant City, Florida, to be closer to him within months, residing with her elder brother in an apartment less than 5 minutes away from his family home. They then got to know one another on an even deeper level, with their shared faith also playing a significant role in their lives by serving as a fundamental pillar of their values. With so many aligned principles and a deep connection, they could not even bear the thought of parting ways.
Therefore, on their first anniversary in July 2025, cowboy sweetheart Tyler popped the question to his princess Madison while down on one knee, to which she ecstatically said yes. Since then, the couple has attended several concerts, embraced new experiences, and traveled together, all the while planning their wedding as well as looking for a place just for themselves. They both admittedly want to start the next new chapter of their lives – their marriage – in their own home, where they can be more involved and independent together. However, they plan to do so while remaining in close proximity to their ever-supportive families.
Madison and Tyler Are Proud Advocates For the Community of People With Autism
Madison has often expressed that art is her true passion, showcasing her creativity in various ways—from crafting jewelry at home to sewing dolls. However, she also possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is the founder of Madizen, an online jewelry store. What’s imperative to note is that she also champions autism/special needs non-profit organizations through her company by donating a portion of her sales to them. Given her active lifestyle and her love for staying mentally stimulated, she has undeniably found a compatible partner in Tyler, who is equally multifaceted and wears many hats himself.
Tyler currently works as a DJ and is officially employed by Autism Speaks Florida, an organization dedicated to promoting solutions, advocacy, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. In addition to his DJ career, he is also an emcee and has had the opportunity to host concerts, including one at the Florida Strawberry Festival. He dreams of becoming a country radio DJ and has ambitious plans for his future, including as an aspiring singer. In fact, he recently got to share a stage with Hunter Hayes, was given the opportunity to work at Post Malone’s Electric Feel Studios, and plans to release original music soon. Proudly identifying as an “Aspie” (a term used by some in the autism community to refer to individuals with Asperger’s), he continues to carve out a successful path for himself in the entertainment industry.
