Maikel Enoch: How Did Former Faith Temple Member Die?

The reality TV personality, Mary Cosby, is faced with allegations of financial misconduct and running a cult through her church, Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. This is explored in a detailed manner in TLC’s ‘The Cult of the Real Housewife,’ a three-part documentary series, which features former congregation members, Mary’s family members, and other professional experts. The docuseries also delves into the case of Maikel Enoch, a young member of the church who passed away under tragic circumstances.

Maikel Enoch Was a Member of Mary Cosby’s Church

The beloved daughter of Michael Enoch, Maikel was born around 1997. She was a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah and shared a close-knit bond with her father. Sometime around mid-to-late 2018, she welcomed a daughter, whom she named London. Two years later, in February 2020, she expanded her family with the birth of her son, Kajal. A devout Christian, Maikel was a member of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church.

Talking about her devotion, Maikel father shared, “She loved the church. She kept a doll that Mary bought her when my daughter was a little girl. When I went to clean out her place, she still had that doll.” The young woman’s world revolved around her kids, whom she loved with all her heart. Maikel loved to create beautiful memories with her kids and other family members. She had a warm personality and a smile that could light up the dullest of spirits.

Maikel Enoch Met With a Fatal Accident in February 2021

Unfortunately, all of Maikel Enoch’s dreams and desires were quashed on February 17, 2021. On the fateful afternoon, Maikel, London, Kajal, and another person were heading somewhere in her white Mercedes SUV. Around 2:40 pm, the mother of two was reportedly on the I-15 highway at 500 South. According to reports, she “lost control” while trying to merge onto the connecting ramp to exit west onto the I-80, resulting in the vehicle rolling “at least twice” with Maikel getting ejected out of the car through the sunroof. Police records mentioned that she “came to rest after falling roughly 30 feet from the raised freeway structure.”

As both the kids were secured in the rear seats, fastened with safety restraints, they reportedly came out with no major injuries. The person on the passenger seat also had only minor wounds. However, in a tragic turn of events, 24-year-old Maikel succumbed to the injuries sustained during the rollover crash and fall. In order to support her two young children and fund the funeral expenses, her loved ones set up a GoFundMe page. Following the tragedy, Mary Cosby talked about it on ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ in a manner that was not appreciated by the Enoch family.

In the documentary series, Michael Enoch, Maikel’s father, addressed the issue and alleged, “That was an attack on me and my daughter. You have to be one miserable human being to go that low. That’s a pastor? No sir, not at all.” As for Maikel’s aunt, Rosalind Enoch, she said, “It was a very traumatizing moment to watch. Anyone that can speak and joke about something like that doesn’t deserve to pastor anything.” The grieving father added, “Why are you speaking on my daughter anyway? You didn’t send condolences.” Michael has also alleged that Mary Cosby discouraged the members of the congregation from donating to Maikel’s fundraiser.
