From the moment we first came across Avocado and Exotic Fruit Farmer Matt Warren on Fox’s ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ season 3, he made it clear that he was looking for a trustworthy partner. At 30, the Morro Bay, California, native was at such a point in his life that he wanted someone with whom he could share all his experiences and one day have a family. However, he never could have imagined that it would lead him to fall head over heels in love with Chelsi Blayne Davis after slowly getting to know her during one-on-one dates and group activities.
The Spark Between Matt Warren and Chelsi Davis Was Instantaneous
The second Matt Warren saw Chelsi Davis walking towards him during the initial speed dating round, he was captivated by her gorgeous smile and sheer beauty, sentiments which she shared about his hunky and handsome physique. However, it was their conversation, albeit brief, that really sealed the deal for the farmer, leading him to decide that no matter what, she would be one of the women he would choose to join him back on his farm in California. After all, she revealed that she also hails from a ranching family from Texas, but she eventually traded getting her hands dirty for flipping houses. That’s when he revealed that he spent some time in Dallas, too, and earned his real estate license for flipping houses when he was 19 before deciding to focus on farming alone.
At Matt’s farm, though, because there were five women vying for his attention, it took them some time to really get to know one another. He was impressed by her willingness to jump into the farming lifestyle, assuring him that she hadn’t misled him about her past, but it was the conversations and her charm that kept him hooked. He realized that she was quite like him in terms of her bubbly yet guarded personality and liked to have a good time, so he couldn’t get her out of his mind. It thus came as no surprise when she became his first kiss on the show, and when he later hand-picked flowers for her for her birthday, which he gave her alongside a cake. Therefore, when the time came for him to pick just one person, he went for the former All-State softball athlete, asserting he plans on marrying her one day.
Matt and Chelsi Still Seem to be Romantically Involved
While it’s true that neither Matt nor Chelsi has confirmed or denied their relationship status as of writing, a few factors suggest that they are still blissfully involved in a romantic relationship. Apart from the fact that they follow one another on their respective social media platforms, there is the way they keep in touch through likes, comments, and even posts about the show. Furthermore, both of them have asserted at different points that this once-in-a-lifetime experience was positive for them and that they believe that one can find love through it, owing to the honesty of the entire process. This, along with how they had expressed their feelings on the show, with Matt even making it clear he doesn’t plan on dating anyone else again, makes us optimistic about their continued romance.
Matt and Chelsi Have Found a Good Balance Between Their Personal and Professional Lives
Based in Morro Bay, California, Matt Warren is a proud farmer at Shanley Farm, which was established by his close relatives in 1998. Together, they produce Citriburst Finger Limes, Dragon Fruit, Gator Eggs Avocados, Morro Bay Avocados, Passion Fruit, and some specialty coffee varieties. Whenever he is not working on the farm, though, it appears as if he keeps himself busy by dedicating himself to his loved ones and his passion for travel and hunting. From hunting in Idaho and Alabama to enjoying tourist spots in New York to embracing the experience of several vineyards across the country, he has done it all in the past few years alone. As for Chelsi, the Dallas native is still based in her hometown, where she presently serves as a Jewelry Producer, aka Operations and Production Manager at RW Fine Jewelry (formerly RingWraps).
She also has extensive knowledge of other areas thanks to her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University (class of 2017) and first-hand experience. She was an Online Sales Manager at J Roberts Clothing from May 2015 to August 2016, and she served as a New Product Development Team Member at Kalcorp Enterprises from May 2016 to August 2016. Today, she is just a proud employee of RW Fine Jewelry, which has opened many doors for her. On a more personal level, she is an outdoor and travel enthusiast too, as evidenced by her fishing, hunting, and ski trips as well as visits to New York, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Costa Rica, Cancun, and Italy over the past few years. The dog lover is particularly close to her grandfather, whom she lovingly calls Bobo.
