Matt Warren From Farmer Wants a Wife: Everything We Know

Season 3 of Fox’s ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ introduced four handsome farmers who had set out on a unique journey to search for their true love. Among them is Matt Warren, who stood out quite naturally with his undeniable charm and unique story. Since he had already experienced heartbreak, he was looking for someone who would be fully committed to him in this journey called life. While his warm personality and genuine commitment to the experience highlighted his resilience, it also quickly captured the attention of the audience.

Matt Warren Has Always Been a Family Man at His Core

Matt Warren was born in 1995 and grew up in the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo, California, bringing joy to his parents’ lives. From a very young age, he shared a special bond with his family, including his brother, Justin Warren. For him, their love and support have been of utmost importance above everything else. However, little did he expect that life would have a cruel twist in store for him. The Warrens received a massive shock when a tragedy struck his sister-in-law, Megan Shanley Warren, something no one could ever be prepared for in life. She lost both of her parents, and the event ended up turning Matt’s life upside down.

Following this grave loss, Matt returned to his roots and served as a strong foundation for her and his brother. Eventually, they became the two people who have remained his rock through the darkest of times. When circumstances forced them to take over the family farm overnight, he did not hesitate for a moment to uproot his life in Texas and rush back to help them. Through all the trials of his life, Matt has always remained a man who has kept his family on a pedestal. He also expressed that being an uncle is something that he holds close to his heart. According to him, his nieces and nephews are the greatest part of his life.

Matt Warren Worked in the Real Estate Sector Before Finding His Passion in Farming

Matt Warren obtained his real estate license at the age of 19 and kicked off his journey toward a promising career. However, when personal tragedy dawned, the unforeseen circumstance left his brother and sister-in-law to grapple with the daunting task of managing their farm alone. When he returned to California, he quickly jumped in, making this crucial decision the beginning of something extraordinary. It marked his transition from real estate to agriculture, making him the first-generation farmer in his family.

Matt slowly embraced his new role at Shanley Farms, which was originally owned by his sister-in-law’s family. He is quite proud of the farm and describes it as “unique” since it is situated only 5 miles from the coastline in Morro Bay, California. The 132-acre farm is known for cultivating avocados and various exotic fruits and has also expanded into the commercial market. From delivering the best-quality produce to retailers and restaurants to culinary enthusiasts, the farm has been garnering a huge customer base. Furthermore, his family also expanded their farm with an additional 70-acre farm in Visalia. His journey from real estate to farming has been nothing short of impressive and further showcases his qualities like adaptability and resilience.

Matt Warren is Quite Outgoing and Enjoys Hunting

Apart from his life on the farm, Matt loves to share rare sneak peeks into his daily life on his social media. Here, he often offers his followers an authentic look at his life on the farm. Additionally, the reality star also promotes products such as the saddle brand Cactus Saddlery and an all-natural horse feed named Cowboy’s Choice Feeds. Besides this, he possesses a strong passion for hunting. This ultimately ends up completely complimenting his rural lifestyle and reflects his connection to the land. In December 2024, he went out for an epic hunting adventure in Idaho, where he fabulously spent his day shooting ducks with his friends. To top it off, the 30-year-old is also an avid horse rider, providing impressive visuals in the act on his social media.

Matt Warren Fosters a Strong Bond With His Friends and Co-Stars

In his personal life, Matt loves meeting new people and fosters a very special bond with his fellow co-stars, Jay Woods, John Sansone, and Colton Hendricks. Apart from this, he also loves to spend time with his friends, whether it be setting out to enjoy their time riding horses or exploring their farm life together from time to time. Although the reality star has kept his personal life under wraps, he is ready to find his soulmate. He wants someone who will be completely willing to spend the small-town life with him. When he was asked why he appeared on the show, he revealed that although there are several beautiful girls in his area, there are limitations, which he believes usually arise due to his age bracket.

Therefore, when Matt got the opportunity, he did not want to miss out on the unique chance to meet women from all over the country. Further emphasizing his personal experience, he remarked that it had been quite nerve-wracking for him. He added that if he were given the chance again, he would prefer to refrain from it because it was a very hard experience. According to him, he had to give a fair shot to everyone because “These girls left their jobs, left their family, left kind of everything to come and move here for a month.” It became a rewarding yet sometimes challenging experience because he also felt that it was his responsibility to gauge how the ladies were feeling. If this indicates anything, it is that Matt Warren has an empathetic and good-natured personality.
