The biggest challenge for them seems to be distance and maintaining a transcontinental relationship between the US and Brazil is demanding, requiring effort, time, and resources from both sides. Their different life stages and priorities might also play a role, especially since Monica has been clear about not wanting more children. These factors may explain why they have kept things private for now. They have not confirmed anything and seem to want to keep it that way for now.
