Paige Bardhoshi: Where is Blake Robbins’ Sister Now?

In November 2009, when Blake Robbins was summoned to his high school office, he had no idea that moment would become a turning point for both him and his family. What followed was a high-profile lawsuit against the school district, accusing them of violating students’ privacy. Blake’s sister, Paige Bardhoshi, was also a senior at the same school in Merion, Pennsylvania. In Prime Video’s ‘Spy High,’ she reflected on that period and spoke about the events as both a student and a family member. Her insights shed light on the emotional and social impact of the ordeal and gave an insight into what it was like to live through the controversy from the inside.

Paige Bardhoshi Alleged That She Had to Drop Her Lawsuit Because She Was Bullied

Paige Robbins, the second eldest of six children born to Holly and Michael Robbins, enjoyed a typical upbringing in Merion, Pennsylvania. She attended Harriton High School, where she was a year ahead of her brother, Blake Robbins. Despite her seniority, she noted that her brother’s charismatic personality often led others to recognize her primarily as “Blake’s sister.” She expressed pride in his well-rounded character and the positive impression he left on both peers and faculty. In November 2009, her life took an unexpected turn when Blake faced allegations of drug involvement based on images captured remotely through his school-issued laptop. These revelations prompted the family to initiate legal action against the Lower Merion School District, citing unauthorized surveillance and invasion of privacy.

In February 2010, when news of the lawsuit emerged, Paige returned home to find her residence surrounded by news reporters. She engaged with the media and expressed support for her family’s decision to pursue legal action against the school district. She accused the school of covertly spying on its students and asserted that taking legal action was the appropriate response. Initially, the family received overwhelming support, with many commending their bravery and courage. However, the narrative soon shifted, and Paige alleged experiencing bullying at school. She recounted that while walking down the hallways, she was subjected to name-calling and ostracization. Even after the lawsuit was settled, she claimed that the social isolation persisted.

Paige aspired to become a district attorney upon graduation. She alleged that the school district had captured images of her through the same software installed on all students’ laptops and claimed her name appeared on a list of students who had been photographed. In December 2011, after her brother’s case was settled, Paige filed a separate lawsuit against the Lower Merion School District. However, she alleged that she encountered significant hostility, with accusations that she and her family were pursuing the case for financial gain. Ultimately, she decided to withdraw her lawsuit in January 2012. She expressed that this experience led her to abandon her ambition of becoming a district attorney and said that she lost faith in the justice system.
