Rachel Jeffs: Where is Warren Jeffs’ Daughter Now?

Rachel Jeffs

Daughter of Warren and Barbara Jeffs, Rachel Jeffs was raised alongside her 47 siblings and half-siblings in a fundamentalist polygamous community. Part of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS), she was allegedly sexually abused by her father in her childhood. By the age of 18, she was married to Richard Allred, who had three other wives. Over the years, she gave birth to five children and taught third graders at the church’s school.

After years of injustice and questioning the rules of the community, Rachel escaped from the church on December 31, 2014, along with her children and her sister, Becky. Based on her memoir titled ‘Breaking Free: How I Escaped Polygamy, the FLDS Cult, and My Father, Warren Jeffs,’ ‘Lifetime’s ‘Surviving My Father: The Rachel Jeffs Story‘ is a dramatized version of Rachel’s life and how she managed to break free from the alleged abusive pattern of her father.

Rachel Jeffs Built Her Life From Scratch After Leaving the FLDS

After making her escape from the church along with her children and sister, Rachel Jeffs stayed with some relatives from her mother’s side in Centennial Park, which was also a polygamous community. Soon, she also severed ties with polygamy and decided to pave her own path by starting afresh. While she earned her GED and attended college, she provided her children with the education she had not received in public schools. To make ends meet, Rachel made the most of her violin-playing skills and took violin lessons to supplement her income. While attending college, she crossed paths with Brandon Blackmore, a former member of the Mormon community. His 13-year-old sister was married to Warren Jeffs, Rachel’s father, in 2004. He also testified in court against his parents in November 2016, with Rachel providing him with her support.

Rachel and Warren Jeffs

In September 2017, Brandon and Rachel tied the knot, making their relationship official in the eyes of the law. That same year, she published her memoir titled ‘Breaking Free: How I Escaped Polygamy, the FLDS Cult, and My Father, Warren Jeffs,’ detailing her experiences of growing up with her father within a fundamentalist polygamous community. She has been publicly speaking up against her father and the religion, including in a few documentaries such as ‘Warren Jeffs: Prophet of Evil,’ ‘Escaping Polygamy,’ and ‘Secrets of Polygamy.’ Given her influence on social media, the published author and speaker uses it to raise her voice against religious extremism and sex trafficking.

Rachel Jeffs’ Life Revolves Around Her Husband, Kids, and Granddaughter

Somewhere down the line, Rachel Jeffs relocated to North Idaho, where she currently resides with her husband, Brandon, and children. In order to dissociate everything from her traumatic past and her former husband, she also renamed her children. Her five children, whom she had with Richard Allred, now go by Ember Rose, Majasa Gold, Riston Aaro, Auvynli Koa, and Tannum Roick. Over the course of her marriage with Brandon, the couple has welcomed two adorable sons — Tason Badge and Tymber Kove. In January 2024, Rachel was interviewed by Rolling Stone, where she talked about her past experiences and life updates. She expressed her relief that her kids were not affected by the past. “They do well in school; they have friends. It’s almost like it hasn’t affected them, which makes me the happiest of all, is that they can just live a normal life,” she added.

She also discussed acclimating to the world and forming many good friendships. She explained, “…I’m part of an amazing community, and we have a beautiful home. Our kids just have a lot of freedom and they’re happy. That’s what I’ve always wanted — for them to be able to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and go on trips together. We live a normal life, and that’s what’s wonderful.” However, she also admitted that because of the years of trauma she experienced, “there are days I don’t want to be public…” On April 16, 2025, Rachel Jeffs Blackmore spoke at the Community Assistance League presentation at the Heartwood Center, where she imparted inspiration and knowledge to all the attendees.

Constantly surrounded by the loving presence of her husband and children, Rachel is a devoted wife and a doting mother who loves spending time with them, whether it is going on an adventure in the mountains and lakes or celebrating festivals. She is also a grandmother to Azayla, the daughter of her eldest daughter, Ember Rose. The Blackmore family also consists of a fur baby named Ranger. In the summer of 2025, around the month of June, Ember got married to the love of her life and father of her daughter, Brady Falck. Talking about the special occasion, she wrote, “It seems unreal when your baby reaches this milestone; truly a series of unreal, beautiful, magical moments.” In September 2025, she and her loved ones took a trip to Sedona, Arizona, where she explored several popular sites.
